I think United should consider an interim manager next. Just let everything calm down a bit.
Why not a former player? They would know the club inside out. It's got to be an advantage.
And if they do ok, why not give them the gig full time next summer?
Much better 2nd half, started winning the ball higher on the pitch and being more effective with it. Hopefully something to build on there. Felt calmer with Burn and Schar at the back, thought Nico was very good again. It’ll dee
There’s me thinking the climates of two cities 12 miles apart would be similar
Often imagine a world of where we’d be in today’s world if we hadn’t been took over by Ashley not long after this. He literally allowed dozens overtake us, now we’re paying for it in a world of PSR restrictions, where in reality we would’ve been in the mix with better ownership
The problem they’ve got is because of how successful they were in the 90’s and 00’s and because they’re a giant football club that shows the odd glimpse now and then, it’s engrained in them that they’re still good, or should be. They’ve been bang average for a decade at least now
What you’re seeing here is the result of a club selling every player with a shred of talent and thinking players who weren’t good enough 5 years ago all of a sudden are now. This incompetent board have been bailed out for years and it’s all coming home to roost now. #NUFC
Come home @howe
Shite again. Attacking principles and patterns are absolutely non existent, we could genuinely go down. Club have fucked us in the transfer markets and tried to PR spin it.
3 week international breaks were great. Maybe extend them to eternal ones cause I fucking hate watching Newcastle
Listen it’s never in a million years a 4-1, I’ve never seen a game like it tbh, but we’ve been terrible once again in both boxes. A real lack of quality and something we all knew would come to bite us on the arse a few times, apart from the ones that mattered seemingly.
It’s almost as though some people believe there is a natural hierarchy in football, with certain clubs entitled to occupy the top positions indefinitely. Anyone who threatens that hierarchy becomes a problem that needs to be dealt with. I find the attitude beyond arrogant tbh
