Sync Alert 🚨 An HBO series is looking for a song for their final episode. Brief : Asian Funk, meaning song with some oriental vibe/harmony. Can be vocal or instrumental. DM me if you want to join the pitch. Deadline: Today 😅

If Spotify paid 100% of revenue to artists, it would be $0.0057 per stream.
Happy now?
Let's add new models that increase fandom, connection & music's value.

Kutipan dari Swami Vivekananda ini selalu saya ingat-ingat terutama sebelum memulai setiap sesi konseling:
"Our duty is to encourage every one in his struggle to live up to his own highest ideal, and strive at the same time to make the ideal as near as possible to the Truth."
Namun “highest ideal” tsb senantiasa kita arahkan sedekat mungkin kpd Kebenaran Sejati.
We have lost a wonderful soul. My mentor, my teacher, my friend @harimbawa @VedicCounsellor. Selamat jalan Bli, saya yakin kedamaian menyertai mu. And Thank You for everything. Om Sadghati Praptir Astu 🙏🏼
In 1985 Michael Jackson bought ATV Music that contained the Beatles catalog and other popular songs. In 1991, Sony paid $100 million to buy the first half that was merged into Sony’s music publishing operation to become Sony/ATV.
Katherine Jackson, the mother, had gone to court to stop part of her son’s music catalog from being sold to Sony. However, in a preliminary ruling issued on July 17, the appellate court rejected Katherine Jackson’s argument that the sale went against the wishes stated the will
If this acquisition pull through, the total amount that Sony paid to Jackson Estate will pass the US$2 billion mark.

Ever wondered what goes into an artist-management contract? I consulted with an entertainment attorney to break down the essentials clause by clause. While no two agreements are the same, this thread covers the most common boilerplate language. 📄 🧵
