Ms. Rachel invites a 3-year-old Black boy to her show and calls on sports teams and soccer stars to step up, celebrate his talent, and help him after a viral video shows him being kicked out of a soccer game by police for being too good ❤️👏
Parents called the cops on a 3-year-old for being too good at soccer compared to other kids and wanted to have him kicked out of the league 😳⚽

Today, the Fifth Circuit stripped immigrants facing detention in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi of their right to due process. People who have lived in our communities for years, even decades, can now be locked away with no chance to see a judge or ask for bond. It’s a radical departure from decades of legal precedent and violates the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution, which protects everyone. This ruling leaves tens of thousands of people imprisoned without the government ever having to say why. It is wrong, and we will keep fighting.
BREAKING: The 5th Circuit has ruled that ICE detainees with pending immigration proceedings have no constitutional right to a bond hearing, regardless of the length of their detention. The en banc ruling appears to be 10-7. s3.documentcloud.org/documen…

A true leader should be among the people and listening to their concerns. I am amongst the constituents to hear their concerns.

Our Founding Fathers did not fight to establish this republic just to watch Donald Trump tear it apart. And a spineless Congress let it happen. YOU deserve better.

March 31, 1776 Abigail Adams to her husband: "I long to hear that you have declared an independency -- and by the way in the new Code of Laws which I suppose it will be necessary for you to make I desire you would Remember the Ladies, and be more generous and favourable to them than your ancestors. Do not put such unlimited power into the hands of the Husbands. Remember all Men would be tyrants if they could. If perticuliar care and attention is not paid to the Laidies we are determined to foment a Rebelion, and will not hold ourselves bound by any Laws in which we have no voice, or Representation." masshist.org/digitaladams/

Abigail knew that women needed to be represented even in 1776. Ruth Bader Ginsberg echoed that in her quote: "Women belong in all places where decisions are being made." — Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 2009

SORRY IF THIS OFFENDS GROCERY EXECUTIVES, BUT I’M DONE. I just pulled a $4.99 box of cereal off the shelf, brought it to the register, and watched the scanner ring it up as $7.49. When I told the cashier, she said: "Oh, that’s the digital coupon price. You have to download our store app, create an account, search for the item, and clip the digital coupon before scanning." ABSOLUTELY NOT. You inflated the shelf price by 50%, locked the normal price behind an app, and forced me to hand over my personal phone data and email just to pay the actual retail value of a box of food? Stop hiding basic shelf pricing behind data-harvesting apps.

Just as God raised up John Paul II behind the Iron Curtain to defeat communism, God has raised up a pope from the Americas, from inside the walls of MAGA authoritarianism, to defeat it. open.substack.com/pub/letter…

Wherever you are, please take a moment today to send Canada warm thoughts & wishes for those Canadian soldiers who lost their lives in the training accident. If you can spare a little kindness in your interactions I'm certain it would be appreciated. Thanks. Stay strong Canada.

When asked by Rollingstone what makes a good politician, @NYCMayor replied with 1 word: "DELIVERING!" When you VOTE on or before NOV 3, VOTE for the candidates delivering change that improves the lives of WE THE PEOPLE (not WE, the companies). youtu.be/L4n-eMXrPMY?is=LbQK…
