The BBC is facing criticism for inviting British-Pakistani Muslim influencer and former The Apprentice contestant Bushra Shaikh onto Sunday Morning Live to defend Islamic face coverings, despite her history of inflammatory statements about Jews, Israel and Iran.
Hours after appearing on the program, Shaikh declared that “Israel is a bigger threat to the West than Iran.”
On October 7, 2023, hours after Hamas massacred Israelis, she wrote: “Palestinians have done more in 5 minutes than Zelensky has done with 75bn. Humiliation is an understatement.”
A week after the first anniversary of the massacre, she called for Israel's elimination as a state, declaring:
“One state solution. Palestine. And send this European problem back to f---ing Europe.”
She previously described European Jews who moved to Israel as “the biggest charlatans on this planet” and “a bunch of lying scumbags.”
Earlier this year, The Guardian reported that Shaikh participated in two Iranian state-sponsored trips and met senior regime officials.
Labour Against Antisemitism condemned the BBC's decision as “sickening,” while former BBC Television director Danny Cohen called it “appalling.”
Responding to the criticism, a BBC spokesman defended the invitation:

A woman was simply filming her shopping trip at Walmart when two Muslim employees began harassing her.
They hurled insults at her and even made throat-slitting gestures to intimidate her into not sharing the footage.
The irony? Both were wearing Walmart’s official “Happy to Help” vests.
No one should have to experience this while shopping in America.

Los pilotos militares del avión presidencial desobedecieron a la torre de control y aterrizaron sin permiso.
En Bruselas todos callan hasta que salgan defendiendo a Tusk que al fin y al cabo es un títere de von der Leyen que jamás habría perpetrado este intento de golpe de Estado sin el permiso de su jefa.

The lies and manipulation by the pro Hamas anti-Israel propaganda machine is a phenomenon that will be studied by many future generations and psychiatrists. The level to which they’ve deliberately lied, edited, cropped, and manufactured false stories as well as revised huge chunks of history has been astounding.
But for me personally, one incident more than most stands out that highlights so many things at once, but especially the lies.
On February 5, 2024, an incident occurred near al-Eizariya in the Ma’ale Adumim area of East Jerusalem. The entire incident was captured on film in full.
Yet a day later thousands of propagandists took the footage and edited it, cutting out almost the entire incident and leaving just 8 seconds of footage showing the moment a 14 year old Palestinian boy was shot by Israeli police.
What the propagandists deliberately edited out was the footage of the boy walking casually up to the border police, then pulling out a large knife and begin stabbing one of the officers violently. The officer struggled with the boy and managed to get distance, then the boy ran across the road and was shot by another officer and killed.
But the edited footage was shared and viewed tens of millions of times, shared by media, celebrities, and anti Israel politicians from around the world.
A day later the full footage was then released which showed the indoctrinated boy stabbing the police officer and then running. But the damage of the lies was already done.
Here is the full video which clearly and unequivocally shows the boy walking up to the police and stabbing them before being shot. This is a common occurrence. Palestinians frequently use children as young as 8 to commit horrific attacks including suicide bombings. And their parents don’t mourn. They smile and celebrate it. That is the culture and the people we are up against. And that is what is soon coming to every country in the West. They know your weakness. They know how to break you. And so many fall for it every single time.
