A labour of love. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. I read, watched, listened widely just so I could articulate some of the things I’ve been pondering for months! ❤️

And a lot of these socials do acc have a benefit when it comes to team building which is why companies are willing to let people finish early for them or put money behind the tab. It’s good for morale & also good for team bonding

ngl, go and drink soda and lime if you really don’t wanna drink, but you can’t get away with refusing to go to any work socials at all, that’s just the culture surrounding work in this country

As a fellow flight attendant… Don’t do this shit. Our shifts can be up to 16 hours and our rest can be as low as 9 hours. We wear 15 hats during boarding alone and we still have to do it with a smile.
I also notice that she doesn’t have a cart. Meaning, he called her over there to ask for a service that he most likely missed bc he was sleeping. And not only did she oblige, she offered options to ensure his happiness. And he repayed her kindness by secretly recording her???
Now strangers on the internet are talking about her looks instead of her professionalism and warmth. This is gutterbutt behavior.

Pope Leo XIV singing the Salve Regina to Our Lady, the Holy Mother of God, at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Montevideo, Uruguay.
Please, take a moment to listen to this heavenly beauty. I promise you, it will cleanse the atmosphere around you and drive away anything that does not belong.
May Our Lady always protect us. ❤️

Our likeness to Christ also matures in the midst of difficulties, such as when work seems fruitless, when our strength wanes or when we must start anew. Eventually endurance leaves its mark. Over the years, a gaze can become more merciful, hands more willing to serve and words more capable of comforting. May trials always find us united to Jesus, so that they may help us to grow in His love. #ApostolicJourney #Uruguay

Random, but I really like women who wear the same necklace every day for some reason. I might be stretching it, but there’s something about them that makes me think they’re such sweet souls.

Pope Leo to journalists on the papal flight to Uruguay, just a little more than 3 weeks after his lung cancer surgery:
“I’m very happy to be here myself. I know some people were doubtful about this trip taking place. I confess that from the first day I had no doubt and was convinced that this trip had to go forward. And I’m very happy to say praise the Lord and thanks to wonderful medical assistance I’m here today I think in fairly good shape. So you're the witnesses of that and I'm happy that you're joining us.”
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is like a mini exorcism. What better way to remind the enemy that you have another chance to get it right? What you’re saying, in effect is:
I often hear this and my response is always that we face our challenges in prayer with utmost humility. We don’t give into despair bc we know that darkness can never overpower light, and so much can be won through humble dependence on God. Christ, Our Lady, St Joseph. Humility.

Omg I was telling my friend this and she said it’s not enough, I didn’t bother explaining further cos she won’t understand.
&that’s what breaks the hold fear has over us. Through the mysteries of the Rosary we draw closer to Christ bc we know how the story ends so we choose to remain in Christ bc that’s where our salvation lies. The enemy knows too. Not away from Him, as he would have us believe.
