I think the most important skill is the ability to cut out the noise and stay focused. Everything from other people's commentary, your internal commentary and your own insecurities.

so I'm going on a little side quest and making wrapping paper! I've always wished wrapping paper felt more like high end packaging (think loewe or Byredo) so I started tinkering on this last year with a tomato print. More on this soon!

haru.gift if you want to see everything. It's still a massive work in progress but we're getting there 😅 I haven't designed a logo or worked on a brand for ~6 years now

Question for the art directors and creative directors: Where are you guys finding talent to hire on projects? Ie: illustrators, photographers etc? Instagram used to be where I would search for inspiration but I feel like I’m being fed content reels and no longer the creative work from the people I follow. Where are you guys turning to or is it just my algo 😵

It does in fact work! Made chicken parm last night. This is perfect for chicken katsu curry and would indeed be great in a sandwich

Hate to admit it, but the "go to the gym in the morning & enjoy the rest of your day" people were right.
