A 3D printer should be part of ever modern household. It's so convenient. You get things immediately and cheaper and custom. Need a luggage tag today? Print a thick, durable tag with your info. Need a bookend because you just filled in a new shelf? Print a Romanesque column. Want a wallet clip because you want to go on a walking trail, and do it lightly? Print one for 20 cents worth of supplies. It's also great for kids and their education.

It still happens but has to start with you. Some friends will reciprocate and some won’t; decide who you invite again accordingly.
