Elden Ring actually has a hidden hard mode! First you have to have a toddler Then while you're fighting a boss, make sure the toddler is jumping up and down in front of you yelling "HE'S GOING TO HIT YOU WITH A HAMMER" This will make the game approximately 100x more difficult.

The worst thing I've done for myself as a first-time parent is to get caught up in infant sleep information overload. All the stress of "wake windows", "drowsy but awake", charts detailing sleep minimums by months, all the fear-mongering by the sleep training industry

This is was a path that not only goes against parental instincts but I could see it clearly leading to PPD. Saying 'fuck it' to logging sleep in apps and clock watching has been so mentally freeing. Also accepting that infant sleep isn't linear.
