Lookout Mountain Club, the Seth Raynor gem from 1925 has had a nice run this summer after opening in June following our complete shut down in ‘22 for the major project. Made some wonderful friends and proud to show my wife the work we put our heart and soul into when not at home!

The grueling DII-AA state decathlon concluded this afternoon @ Brentwood Academy. Gilbert Stein (14th), Ben Boehm (23rd), and Elliott Surface (24th) represented Baylor and competed in ten events: long jump, high jump, 110 hurdles, shot put, discus, 400m, triple jump, 100m, pole vault, and 1500m. The boys track & field team heads to Spring Fling at MTSU next week.

Once worked with a guy who had been told to backpack blow cart paths by starting on 18 and going backward. Thank goodness he didn’t trip by the time we found him walking backwards on hole #15. Of course the cart paths remained covered in clippings and debris. – at Chattanooga, TN
