“My mother neglected me by making me live in a tent with a man who molested me.” “You didn’t ’live in a tent’ you just stayed there for months at a time ☝️🤓”
Spending a winter in a tent doesn't support "grew up living in a tent" as her estranged mother asserts in the controversial ad

My grandma came over and the neighbor was telling her how he got ordained to marry his son the other week and she asked him if since he’s an ordained minister now he can help her arrange to be buried in the backyard whenever she dies.

I worked with a widower who remarried his first wife after his second wife died of cancer, they had been married for 20+ years when I was acquainted with them. Though I suppose it's possible it's all fallen apart since then.
Ive literally never met a single person who has gotten back together with an ex and then gone on to have a healthy long-lasting relationship with them, idk why people still do it

The problem with a naturally servile man is that he will make himself a slave to just about anyone.

I really don't think there's an explanation for this except that Ramaswamy knows that MAGA voters and their pastors will feel a reflexive sense that what a man wants to do to a little girl in the privacy of his home is no one's business but his.
For the people screaming that Vivek had nothing to do with the ad: Not only is he defending it, but he’s pouring *$4 million* into it. Weaponizing a deadbeat mother whose husband was credibly accused of raping her own daughter…to own the libs, or something. Disgusting behavior.

Europeans are mad we use credit cards because they want to scrape our debit card info to get their Diesel jeans and Aeropostale t-shirts that say “apres ski” on them.

It's clear she sees men as vessels to displace her own aggression and control. Can't help but think her personal history made it feel necessary to develop this tendency, to restrict men to a limited, instrumental dimension, inviting the worst among them to be at least useful.
Elizabeth Holmes is very clearly an incredibly adapt manipulator however one of her primary tactics seems to be shackling herself to men that will absorb all culpability from her largely because they themselves are hyper control obsessed to the point of being predatory.

He was in the prison yard eating her turkey jerky. He’s a bum!
in all seriousness regarding Billy, despite what people may think after watching the doc, i don’t think enough attention was given to the fact that he has effectively become a single father he’s not only responsible for raising the children alone, but also navigating the emotional and practical difficulties of having a spouse who is incarcerated i think he deserves far more credit for holding the two young children together

I left the movie thinking, how do you even go on with your life after Amanda Seyfried divorces you? How do you possibly continue?

Obvious cocaine addict. The passion with which he immediately corrected Nathan about the night club in Miami that has strippers but isn’t a strip club… says it all
Underdiscussed element of You Can See Everything discourse: How bloated and aged Billy gets in the 2 years Elizabeth goes to prison. He looks like a completely different person in the second half

I think her fixation on scammer men is pathological. It would be very painful to go through life with such a large part of you unacknowledged so she latches onto men who she senses will intuitively understand her contradictions because they are fundamentally deceptive as well.

"Friday I tasted life. It was a vast morsel. A Circus passed the house—still I feel the red in my mind though the drums are out. The Lawn is full of south and the odours tangle, and I hear to-day for the first time the river in the tree." – Emily Dickinson (letter, May 1866)

Also in real life the only people who call you a whore is like, drunk losers, literal pedophiles hitting on you at the grocery store age 12, and tweakers who walk around with one shoulder of a zip up hoodie hanging off. I’m like oh.. this is what they’re doing on their Motorolas
