Dr. Nasiphi was not going to win outright in Tshwane. She's not a Mayor bc ASA won majority last LGE. If anything, you guys showed up for her. In 2021, I don't even think ASA had 10% in Tshwane.

They barely ran a campaign. I can see why people theorise that they're purposely scaling down.

I love it when artists sound like real artists. I don’t know much about this boi but he sounds cool.

“The old South Africa is gone” yet 1994 kicked off as a coalition. This is what happens when you don’t read.

DA did not get much votes! They maintained their strongholds and their white votes remained unshaken against the 543 shaken black political parties who ensured votes are split amongst all of them.
You guys really have potential because you are committed and passionate about building a South Africa that works for its people, but like I have said, it is misguided and misinformed! Losing the societal moral fibre, making insults amongst ourselves a normalcy, not reading and investing on our ideological resolve and appreciating that the beneficiaries of white privilege were never gonna go down without a fight!
They have found a strategy, it is to disintegrate the black voice and power, divide them whilst their base remains unshaken.
My organisation, is partly to blame because we made mistakes that we shouldn’t have. We have conceded to these shortcomings even in our manifesto and I have seen some of the renewal efforts by the ANC being implemented through the establishment of Madlanga commission by president Ramaphosa, through the recovery of close to 16billion by the SIU through interventions and guidance by the ANC president. This only meant that all of us as progressives needed to reflect on how we take our country forward and do right by the people.
But ke….we soldier on!

We respect and uphold our own laws and constitutional principles because without them, there would be no country to live in. We also appreciate the deeper message that South Africans communicate through the ballot and must draw lessons from them and work towards doing better. Most importantly we have got to allow the people to get a better appreciation of whether their stunts mean progress for for the country or the lack there of? Whether voting the ANC out automatically translates into strengthened, empowered, serviced communities or that , it simply means consolidated and solidified rule by the economic powerful elite of this country?
And once, we are able to answer that question fellow patriots, we will truly advance the real struggle⚫️🟢🟡🇿🇦

Los Angeles, I am deeply honored to be your next mayor.
I just spoke with Mayor Bass and expressed my deepest gratitude for her leadership and decades of service. Los Angeles would not be the city it is today without her.
I love this city. I believe in its people. The work ahead will be hard, and change will take time. And together, we are going to build a future as extraordinary as the city we call home.
Thank you, LA. Let’s get to work.

As black people, our homework is to narrow it down to 2 parties that were voting for.🙏🏾
Our votes CANNOT be scattered like this ever again

I’m sorry but he owns the streets😭 the only way you get that municipality is if he gives it away.

We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
ANC can turn the tide in the next general elections because people still have a sense of indebtedness towards them . All they need is to throw in Sputla or someone equally credible then people will go back home . Problem kore their internal politics might not let them do this

A quick reminder before we declare anyone the winner of Johannesburg:
Leading the vote count is NOT the same as winning the council.
Joburg has 270 council seats. A party needs 136 to secure an outright majority.
Ward results and PR votes both feed into the final seat allocation. Until the votes are counted and seats allocated, it’s too early to call it.
Let’s not confuse a lead with a win. 🗳️
