This isn’t a whitepaper.
This isn’t a pitch deck.
This is real-world asset (RWA) tokenization in production.
The Dubai Land Department just issued a blockchain-secured Property Token Ownership Certificate, proving legal, fractional real estate ownership.
Let’s break this down. 🧵👇
☠️
I genuinely don’t want to criticize a competitor during their crisis. What I really want is for us to work together with them to raise security standards and better protect the entire crypto industry.
But I have to say, the interview with the “richest man in crypto,” who claims he no longer runs Binance (do you really believe that?), made me sick.
The interview was full of bullshits. It was misleading, appeared to downplay their own responsibilities, and attempted to discredit traditional banks to make excuses for their own failures.
Instead of demonstrating accountability and leadership during a crisis, the interview seemed more focused on deflecting responsibility and shifting blame. This is not the kind of leadership our industry needs.
Since the incident, the “richest man in crypto” seems unable to stop making noise:
1. He has arguably been the most vocal individual associated with Binance on social media throughout this crisis.
2. He has found time to argue with Elon Musk @elonmusk over SpaceX stock investments.
3. He keeps emphasizing that “only 2%” of funds have left Binance, as if that somehow addresses the underlying security concerns.
4. Marketing campaigns to attract new deposits have continued amid the crisis.
5. He has tried to suggest that traditional banks have weaker security. How can someone claiming to be a professional crypto industry leader make such a misleading comparison? The threat models, attack surfaces, and consequences are fundamentally different. Comparing the two without that context is irresponsible.
6. And almost every time he speaks, he appeared to leave a pregnant woman on the front line and adds the same disclaimer: “I don’t run Binance.”
Meanwhile, the entire crypto industry is suffering the consequences:
1. Bitcoin reportedly fell from around $81,000 to $75,000 during the turmoil.
2. Billions of dollars in leveraged positions were liquidated amid the market disruption.
3. The incident has potentially damaged the credibility of the entire crypto industry in the eyes of traditional capital markets, institutional investors, and global regulators.
And after all this, their so-called “multi-layer security defense” is looking increasingly like a joke.
A friend sent me photos of Halloween costumes that they came across. I’m sharing them here. The satire speaks for itself.
Our industry needs fewer excuses, less PR spin, and more genuine collaboration to protect users and strengthen security standards.
That is what I would rather spend my time building together—even with our competitors.
This goes a long way to show you how important having a personal brand is.
People are queuing up at VDM's office to buy a power station they could easily get elsewhere, but they don't mind the wait.
That's what happens when you've built a reputation people can trust.
They believe in you, and they believe you wouldn't put your name behind something you're not confident about.
At that point, you're not just selling a product. You're selling the trust you've spent years building.
And that's an asset money can't easily buy.

Everything is connected guys, keep learning and unlearning. And always stay safe.
Thanks @MyticLarry for putting this together
Every crypto trader should watch this!
Are we in the bull Run ?
@highchiefebuka said there’s a lot of FUD and FOMO in the market

The recent security incidents involving Bybit, Bitget, and now Binance should serve as a wake-up call for every leader in the crypto industry.
Security should never be an area of commercial competition. It is a shared responsibility to protect our customers and the entire industry.
Over the past decade, major crypto exchanges have made significant progress in protecting private keys. We have seen relatively few incidents involving direct private key compromises in recent years. So far, we have not seen conclusive evidence that Binance’s hot wallet private key was leaked. The greater concern may lie in vulnerabilities in access controls and wallet management systems.
Companies that have never experienced a major security incident should not assume they are inherently safer or immune to attacks.
At OKX, we have built multiple layers of sophisticated security protection and maintained a strong security track record over the past decade. But we also recognize that no system is absolutely secure. We must remain humble, vigilant, and constantly challenge our own security assumptions.
A major security breach at any exchange undermines trust in the entire crypto industry, ultimately hurting every company and every customer.
I believe CEOs across the industry need to come together, just as we did during the Bitcoin fork crisis in 2017, to establish stronger industry-wide security standards and coordinated response mechanisms.
For example, transfers and settlements between verified exchanges could be processed in real time, while large withdrawals to unknown or unverified addresses, as well as transactions granting smart contract permissions, should be subject to additional verification and appropriate security delays.
Crucially, these safeguards should be enforced at the cryptographic signing layer, rather than relying solely on application-level controls. Even if an attacker compromises an exchange’s wallet management system, they should not be able to bypass these fundamental security restrictions.
We should also establish industry-wide mechanisms for real-time security incident notifications, coordinated monitoring of suspicious funds, and rapid responses to potential attacks. Exchanges, stablecoin issuers, and other major industry participants should work together to enable the rapid, lawful temporary freezing of suspected stolen assets when necessary.
We should also work together to accelerate the industry’s transition to quantum-resistant cryptography and strengthen our defenses against emerging AI-powered security threats. These are long-term challenges that no single company can solve alone, and they require coordinated research, shared standards, and collective action across the industry.
Security is everyone’s responsibility. No company can protect the future of crypto alone.
I wish you guys understood why we love Ronaldo so much. It's not just about stats or who is the better footballer. It's something much more relatable, something almost every human being experiences at some point in their life.
It's the desire to become something more than what you currently are. It's setting goals, working towards them, pushing yourself beyond your limits, and eventually becoming the person you once only imagined you could be.
We've all experienced this at some point, or we're still going through it.
We've all had moments when we wanted something so badly, when we had to work for it, when we doubted ourselves, and when we hoped that all the effort would eventually pay off.
And that's what makes watching Ronaldo so special for a lot of us. Seeing him set goals for himself, constantly push his limits, and achieve things that once seemed impossible is an emotional experience. It's a reminder that the things we aspire to become aren't always out of our reach.
For many people, Ronaldo isn't just a footballer they admire. He's a reminder of what is possible when you commit yourself to something and refuse to stop working towards it.
And sometimes, seeing someone else achieve what you dream of achieving gives you the hope that you can do it too.
Congratulations on winning the B.O.A.T. award, Cristiano Ronaldo. You've inspired a generation. 🐐❤️
I don't think the Messi vs. Ronaldo GOAT debate will ever end.
Most people think it's because they're both incredible footballers or because their achievements are so close that there's no clear answer. I don't think that's the real reason.
I think it's because we don't actually relate to them the same way.
When people watch Lionel Messi, many see someone who was blessed with an extraordinary gift. He makes football look so effortless that it almost feels like the game comes naturally to him. He sees passes others don't, glides past defenders, and does things that leave you wondering how that's even possible.
Then they watch Cristiano Ronaldo, and they see something completely different. They see someone who represents discipline, sacrifice, consistency and an obsession with getting better. Every success feels earned because you've watched him push himself year after year, constantly evolving and refusing to settle.
Whether Messi is more naturally gifted or Ronaldo worked harder isn't even the point I'm trying to make.
The point is that people don't just admire greatness, they admire the kind of greatness they relate to.
Someone who believes success comes from talent and creativity will naturally appreciate Messi more. Someone who believes success is built through hard work, resilience and discipline will probably connect more with Ronaldo.
That's why statistics and metrics rarely settle the debate, even when it clearly favours one side.
At some point, it stops being about football and starts becoming about our own beliefs. We're no longer just arguing over goals, trophies or assists. We're defending the philosophy of life that makes the most sense to us.
The more I think about it, the more I realize this doesn't just apply to football.
It's how we judge almost everything in life.
The people we admire, the leaders we follow, the artists we love, and even the kind of friends we naturally gravitate towards are often a reflection of our values, experiences and how we think greatness is achieved.
Maybe that's why the GOAT debate has lasted for so many years.
It has never been just about who the better footballer is.
It's about how different people define greatness.

After spending just about 1 hour on a flight, you'll then have to wait another 30 minutes just to get your luggage 😪 @FAAN_Official please do better
This is actually a great find🤏
I've been looking at the way most of us trade on-chain and there's one thing that still feels unnecessarily complicated.
You're on a CEX, then move funds to an external wallet, connect to a DEX, switch networks, deal with gas, then switch apps again when you want to use a DApp.
OKX solved that already. Now there’s a simpler way of doing this.
With OKX On-chain, you can go:
Trade → On-chain → Select Chain → Select Token
and access supported on-chain markets directly from the OKX app.
And if you're using DApps, DeFi or other Web3 applications, you can also switch into the OKX Web3 Wallet instead of having to constantly jump between different apps.
I'm not saying you should take my word for it. Try it yourself.
1. Sign up with this link: okx.ac/join/75613832 or just download the OKX app from Apple store or Google playstore and use my referral code: 75613832 when signing up
2. Then use either the OKX On-chain feature or Web3 Wallet, and share your experience on X.
3. Tweet about what you tried, what you liked, what felt easier, or what you think could be better.

$82k region didn't hold, chopped my SL in peace.😪
Next up, $90k, if market can't break that zone.
Then we might see a huge crash down to $40k
I see a lot of people hoping we're in the bull market, praying that BTC breaks the current weekly high it has been testing for some time.
If you really wish well for the crypto Market in the short term, you won't want that high to be taken out just yet.
If that high is taken out without BTC first retracing to that demand zone at $65k
Market would likely go up to tap into that $90k zone, then crash down to around $40k.
Only then would we begin to hope for a new ATH.
These are tough times😪

Replying to @peetahlaw__
Honestly, my bet is also on the bulls, but I’m not sure if that liquidity would be taken anytime soon.
My forecast is that market would first dump to tap into that weekly order block at around $65k before coming back up to take that weekly high, then when it comes back down, that weekly high becomes support for another push upwards.
If it doesn’t happen this way and market takes out that weekly high first, then that $65k demand zone won’t hold.
Market would crash down to around $45k
A cheating partner can never be a good trader because he'll always risk more than he can afford to lose.
And yeah, you might get lucky, you won't get caught, you'll get away with it and make 10x profits from one trade.
But the day your luck runs out, you'll get caught, you'll blow your account, and you'll lose everything.
Stay safe out there guys, enjoy your weekend.
