Reading reports around player selection and prep for LA Olympics. The federation has given a fair call regarding performance and not age will be key. Let the players compete, if they perform during training camps, keep them, if not, don't select them. No forced retirements
Gems of hockey commentary
Someone please tell the commentators that Shilanand Lakra is from Odisha not Jharkhand.

Are the commentators in Asian Champions Trophy getting paid basis words per minute?
They are just not shutting up even for a second.
Nostalgia max in this pic
From Rajpal Singh and Shivendra Singh to Sukhjeet Singh and Jugraj Singh, Olympians from across generations in the modern era of Indian hockey enjoyed an evening of reunion in Jalandhar. 🔥😍
The occasion was the official dinner hosted by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Shri Bhagwant Mann, welcoming the teams and officials participating in the Hero Asian Champions Trophy Punjab 2026. 🙌

Someone in federation says players have been informed.
Players says they have not been informed.
Is communication banned inside the federation?
Surprised to see Jarmanpreet's name in the list. He still makes those runs on right, flanks well, acts as attacking support while doing his defensive duties
As per TOI article by Manuja Veerappa, Asian Champions Trophy could be final tournament for Mandeep Singh, Jarmanpreet Singh, Amit Rohidas and Nilakanta Sharma

Craig Fulton deserves more time.
India’s World Cup exposed a missing Plan B and a midfield that struggled when the counter was closed.
Give him the next Pro League to fix it. If nothing changes, the argument for a new coach gets much stronger.

India won Asian Games gold and booked their LA28 place.
But the World Cup problems have not disappeared. India still need tough selection calls, tactical changes and a clearer plan for the next Olympic cycle.
