11 things you need to learn to become a marketing engineer
It's the most in-demand job right now👇
1/ Get Claude Code and a GitHub account ASAP
-> The only way to win is to outship everyone: more ads, more posts, more everything. Claude Code makes you 100x faster and turns it all into repeatable processes
2/ Learn the dark secrets of marketing
-> Black hat SEO, parasite SEO, affiliate networks, expired domains, hidden prompts that make ChatGPT recommend you, mass press releases, gaming AI Overviews with YouTube, etc
3/ Learn to build a content machine that makes 100s of pieces a week
-> Anyone can make 1-2 cool videos, but 100s a week is the part most teams never crack
4/ Run evals to find the best AI model for each task
-> Test models side by side on statics, videos, text and scripts. It raises the quality of your work tremendously
5/ Use programmatic SEO to build a page for every search your buyers make
-> Pages like "CRM for dentists" or "HubSpot vs Salesforce" rank first for those searches. Claude Code makes 500 in a day
6/ Know that attribution lies to you
-> Add "Where did you find us?" to your signup form. The real source is often very different from what analytics says
7/ Become the "I know a guy" person with contacts at the best agencies
-> When the team needs a video editor, an SEO agency or a media buyer, you know who's best and get it done the same day
8/ Build an ads agent that runs your account
-> It checks Meta and Google hourly, pauses ads above 3x target CPA, scales 3-day winners by 20% and logs every move to Slack
9/ Make AI video ads at scale, since every 100 new ads cut CPA by 30%
-> One demo and a 30-second script become 100 UGC-style ads with Wan, Seedance, Kling and ElevenLabs
10/ Accept that the scoreboard resets every morning
-> Algorithms push fresh content daily, so every morning you get a new shot at winning users with better content, and more of it
11/ Make ChatGPT recommend you, your #1 priority
-> Get to #1 in ChatGPT answers and you've saved your company. It's an endless source of free clients

Our scheduling is tough.
Hard to know when a good time is to slot a new client in without creating conflicts. Hard to reschedule current clients without creating cascading conflicts.
Building an intelligent schedule bot that my VAs can message on slack
"new client, 1800 sq ft wants a deep clean and then biweekly. wants to have the deep clean in the next 3 days and then biweekly cleans on a consistent weekday morning"
Bot responds "I recommend the deep clean on Monday at 1pm with Maria and her helper. Then, Jasmine is available to pick up the recurrings on Tuesday mornings at 9am starting in 2 weeks"
It also looks 60 days out into the schedule and find conflicts and recommends changes. Keeps in mind not to reschedule recurring when possible, not to change cleaners on recurrings if possible, and not to move peope that we've already moved.

it is genuinely astounding how many ways you can make $$$ now, especially with ai + how crazy ads targeting / shortform is
even just 10 years ago, it was WAY different. shortform didn't exist, everything was manual on the tech, there wasn't really any relevant info to find unless you met some random dude in some crazy location or had bunch of $$$ to spend
Back then the war was just discovering wtf you could even do
the war now is deciding+committing

the ai slop posters list is now fully synced with @ryanvogel’s list - we’re up to ~780 identified accounts making this app worse.
if you haven’t yet, point your agent at the list and have it mute and block the accounts on it daily

this guy literally explained how social media infantalizes ADHD and completely ignores the real struggle.
Soooo many ideas wow I’m feeeling gooood today
If you want to get rich, start an agency.
I've helped build two platforms in my career. In both, the agencies that built around the platform made more than the executives did.
That's how you know a platform is working: people build businesses on top of it and get rich doing it.
The best Trybe agencies make more than I do. I wouldn't want it any other way.
If nobody's getting rich on your platform, you don't have a platform. You have a tool.
was hating on the idea of offices and even removed form website last night but now im adding it back because of this tweet LOL. Ive grown to hate sales process length of trying to win commerical after a few Ls on medical facility but I forget about tiny offices. cold email time

"I want to get a second Google Business profile but I don't want to mess up my NAP."
I hear this every single week. Here's the thing most people overcomplicate.
Your NAP does not need to be identical across every listing. It needs to be ACCURATE for each location.
You're opening a second service area? Cool. Get a real address. A virtual office, a coworking space, whatever. Just make sure it's a legit location you can verify through.
Then your NAP for that listing reflects THAT location. Different address. Probably different phone number. Same business name.
Where guys screw this up is they try to use the same address for two listings. Or they use their home address for one and some random suite for the other. Google sees that and starts asking questions you don't want to answer.
The play is simple. Each GBP gets its own clean NAP. Its own tracking number. Its own landing page on your site that matches. You're not "splitting" your authority. You're building a second signal that tells Google you legitimately operate there.
Citations? Update them per location. Don't blast 300 directory submissions with mixed info. Clean data in, clean rankings out.
The guys running 5+ GBP listings in different cities aren't worried about NAP conflicts. They have a system. One location, one NAP, one landing page, one citation set. Rinse and repeat.
Stop overthinking it.

Prediction:
College kids are screwed.
I’m changing my mind on AI.
It will drive a wedge between the competent and the average that is so wide the average and below average won’t be able to add value in white collar work.
Why hire a $100k a year college grad who knows nothing in NYC or San Fran when I can hire an AI native engineer in Colombia for half that?
Why hire an analyst when an AI native finance manager in South Africa is half the price and can do 3x the work?
Why hire an average sales person in the states for $100k when you can get a South African with Grok bot to be 10x as productive?
Global talent + AI is now much much closer to the best talent in America and much better than average talent in America.
What are all of these people going to do for work?
What do I train my kids to do to make sure they can earn a living?

You would be blown away if you took the time to really use codex and claude code correctly for AI video and distribution
Its fragmented now, but ill make an agent that does this in one go:
- took a viral reel of mine
- claude code directed Tesseract to make 5 edits of versions
- codex then created a lead magnet and automation with manychat
- claude then took the finished videos, used new IG edits app to upload them all as trial reels inside my IG account
and Voila
The part left for me is being creative, the boring labor is officially over
When I feel like I’m playing small I realize I’m not playing at all. Levels to this mentality
Sash started his AI Agency at the beginning of August.
90 days later, he’s collected $82,500.
Month 1: $29K
Month 2: $11K
Month 3: $42.5K
I sat down with him to break down exactly how he did it.
What he sold, how he sold it, who he sold it to, and how he's going to get to $100k/mo.
