As someone who has firsthand witnessed the way zionist indoctrination is used to radicalize Jews against Palestine, I wanted to make a 🧵 of things that helped me unlearn what I had been taught to hopefully help people deprogram themselves or their loved ones

Yesterday, two vigils were held to celebrate the life of Elijah L. Lewis. The second was at the corner of Broadway and E Pine St, where Community members gathered to remember the activist, entrepreneur and community leader whose life was tragically cut short on Saturday afternoon at just 23 years old. Family members, friends, colleagues and community members marked the spot where Lewis was tragically murdered with speeches, signs, flowers and more, celebrating Lewis’s legacy while pushing for community safety and sharing in the heaviness of the moment. Community members held the street for two hours as they honored Lewis’s life and legacy. Photos by Seattle photographer Jordan Somers on behalf of Converge Media.

Every single touring band has a nightmare story of driving from Denver to Salt Lake City or vice versa and I hope everyone knows how insanely dangerous it is to make that drive, especially during the winter.

Since I spent all month screaming “vote!” at strangers on the internet like a maniac, let me follow up with a summary of some positive election outcomes in our state, especially with younger voters who would definitely be justified in feeling disillusioned w/ electoral politics🧵

i don’t really know how else to say this but ppl who transition are doing very cool and frankly heroic shit that future generations will benefit tremendously from and it’s completely insane and infuriating that reactionaries are imposing such a high social cost on it

San Francisco’s poverty rate is 10%; Detroit’s is 33%. San Francisco’s unemployment rate is 3%; Detroit’s is 20%. Yet, San Francisco’s homelessness rate is a whopping 3 times higher than Detroit’s. Why? If you want to understand homelessness, follow the rent:

That means $54,000,000,000 to Ukraine in less than 4 months. “How will we pay for it” never seems to apply to wars, just the basic needs of the American people.
