Hardaway had a much better game after this tweet but man his defense this season (including tonight) has been so crippling.
He needs to be as efficient as he was tonight to even be playable
Spo: "We are at our best when we have 7-8 guys scoring in double figures... Giannis will be scoring a lot of points for us but other guys have to contribute.”
Double-digit scorers tonight: Giannis, Bam, Wiggs, Davion, Pelle, Portis, Hardaway
Giannis Antetokounmpo exactly as advertised through Miami’s first five games this season:
27.6 PPG
11.2 RPG
4.6 APG
57% FG
SOUTH BEACH FREAK 😤🔥
"I thought he played a smart game— allowing other guys to have a impact, he inserted himself when he needed to. He was a monster on the glass on both ends..."

Bam: 24 PTS, 9 REB

🔥
This was a wire-to-wire victory for the Miami Heat, who will earn that inevitable bounce back win
Seven players in double figures, Giannis with a DOMINANT 24 & 18 double-double. Bam Adebayo passes Udonis Haslem as the all-time franchise rebounding leader, finishing with 24 & 9.
GIANNIS AND-1
Beautiful give and go between Davion & Giannis there… stopped some Hawks momentum on the drive
Bam isn’t the only one stepping up tonight. Tim Hardaway Jr. has looked sharp.
Just hit a transition 3P to end the 3Q, attacking seams and getting to the rim… he has a season-high 11 points off the bench.
The Heat have their largest lead of the night at 18, winning 95-77
This has been a complete change of pace from the first four games. Activity on defensive end is high. Bam Adebayo with 22 points on 50% shooting— can feel his impact on both ends.
