To do this, the video game sphere would first have to accept that games can be something that is not, necessarily, fun. And that's going to be very very difficult. It's legitimately the last barrier for games being art, imo.

all of this is certainly true but it’s all a symptom of the term “trauma” replacing PTSD in common parlance; everyone has trauma, not everyone has a stress disorder over it.
