Spent several delightful days at IISER Mohali, attending the UNOOS conference organized by @arijitb4u, & celebrating Debu Goswami's 60th birthday. Made new friends and learnt new stuff.
Can crosspeaks appear in a 2D spectra of a dimer system without direct coupling or population transfer between the two monomers? Yes, a different type of crosspeak appears if we have a quantum time cross correlation function between them. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…
Hiked up Ben Nevis, UK's highpoint at 1345m, with Taka Tanimura, Klaas Wynne and his son Guus. This is a Summit Summit event where we meet to climb a mountain (usually a country highpoint), and discuss science. (Ok, the latter is usually the excuse for the former :p)

We measure the Ultrafast Energy Transfer between FCP light harvesting complexes and the Photosystem II core complex in diatom photosynthesis. A collaboration with @PHLambrev and others. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…
Exposed to iron limitations, some cyanobacteria produce iron stress-induced protein A (IsiA) pigment-protein cplxs, which assemble around Photosystem I (PSI). We measure a very fast ~3ps energy transfer from that IsiA to PSI core w/ 2DES. @PHLambrev
