رغم أن Chiba كان الرسام لا مؤلف القصة، إلا أنه كان صانع النهاية الخالدة لـجو الغد. النهاية الأصلية كانت بنجاة جو وجلوسه بقصر يوكو شيراكي، لكن Chiba رفضها لأنها كانت تبدوا تقليدية بالنسبة له وتفجر شعورًا بالشفقة الزائدة على جو.. فاستبدلها بمشهد الرماد الأبيض الشهير على الحلبة
