If I had to summarise Intent Gateway(@hyperbridge @hyperfx_finance) from both the user’s and the solver’s perspective: User: “I hold an asset on BSC that the solver probably doesn’t want and honestly it isn’t even a token, it’s an LP position. Unwind it for me at placement, sweep the proceeds straight into escrow, and don’t make me hold the input asset at any point. Then do some abracadabra: take it from BSC and get me a position in a vault on Base, denominated in an asset the solver may not even hold and don’t just deliver it, deposit it. One signature, one order, the whole path. While you’re at it: show me every solver who wants this. All of them, on-chain, where I can read the bids myself rather than being handed whatever an API decides to surface. I’ll pick the one paying me the most and sign it with a session key. No signature, no fill, so nobody front-runs me, nobody replays it, and nothing of mine ever sits in a mempool for a sandwich bot to find. And if my deadline passes with no fill, I don’t want to wait on someone’s watcher service to notice. Give me a proof that no fill happened and let me pull my funds back myself.” Solver: “I don’t hold that asset on Base either, and nothing of mine is sitting idle it’s in Aave, it’s in a Uniswap V4 range, it’s earning somewhere. So I’ll do my own abracadabra: borrow against a lending position, unwind an LP, route through a resting order, flash loan it and repay in the same bundle. I don’t need pre-positioned inventory on Base, I only need to satisfy the output spec at the moment of execution, and my capital goes back to work the second it settles. I don’t need permission to be here either. No onboarding, no staking, no KYC at the protocol layer. I just sign a UserOp and post it as a public bid. My own validation code enforces that the user picked me before I pay a cent of gas, and I pay that gas in USDC because I’m not holding five different native tokens to do this. I hold my own keys the entire time. And if I pad my margin, I lose. Somebody else bids tighter and the user picks them. That’s the deal.”
