The packaging for this "retro throwback" Littlest Pet Shop soon is tripping me up, it's the G7 logo and packaging style combined with symbol-eye era illustrations edited to have round eyes which is such a weird style combination (picture stolen from Facebook) #LPStwt
Just saw someone try to argue that Giggleland being extremely an extremely generic mascot horror game is intentional because it's part of the metafiction, that's not an excuse for making a video game that sucks especially when you advertise it as being different from other games.
The whole argument that it's okay that the game sucks because it's part of an ARG falls apart when the rest of the ARG is free and the game costs $20 in real money, meaning it was at the very least meant to be the centerpiece of the ARG, and therefore should be the best part.

This is Easel! I think they're the third art supply character for It's Buddy I've made this month? The inspirations are the notebook from Don't Hug Me I'm Scared and the easel character from Blue's Room.
I think the official Littlest Pet Shop YouTube channel viewbots or does something similar to artificially boost views because how else do you get such a massive gap in views between videos posted just a week apart?
I know it's a coincidence, but it does make me happy that in Buddy neither Mr. Mailbox, Trashy, nor the Worry Well were killed by Buddy because that would have aged poorly extremely quickly. Yeah, I know Mr. Mailbox still loses his magic at the end but at least Freddy didn't know

Holly is a reindeer who appeared in the It's Buddy Christmas special! However, Buddy hates her for taking the kids' attention away from him and starting a debate among them about whether reindeer or unicorns are cooler
The more I think about this (and how much they're doubling down on it) the more I think this is the cringiest attempt at trying to be "cool" with a video game ad since Mighty No. 9's "make the bad guys cry like an anime fan on prom night"

Marketing your mascot horror game by saying "finally a mascot horror game not made for children" constantly despite being Diet Indigo Park is like the cliche of girls who are slightly quirky constantly talking about how they "aren't like the other girls".
