So red plate players:
- Have to wait the longest to find games
- Play the most cheaters
- Play the same people over and over because you only play other red plates
- GET 5x LESS REP THAN BLACK/BROWN?
I don’t blame the plate droppers, you only get punished for winning 😭
Ok I’ve been asking this since the game dropped, but legit why does a hop jumper have a larger green window than a standstill jumper? Why is a moving shot easier than a standstill in this game
Most of the shots these cheaters take are hop jumpers, from anywhere on the court, and the files show what that gets them. If you're standing and push the left stick as you shoot, you get a hop instead of your jumper. 2K gives hops a flat 1.25× green window on twos and threes and skips your jumper's Green Window grade, so at the same base chance a hop's window is 14% to 39% bigger than a jump shot's. A hop also gets 10 more points of base chance than a pull-up from the same spot, which makes its window bigger still. An Excellent rhythm tempo then makes the window 30% bigger again, which puts a rhythm hop at 1.63× a normal jump shot's window (1.25 × 1.3). I measured that stacking live on spin shots, which get the same 1.25× on twos, but I haven't recorded a rhythm hop yet.
Ok 2k we’ve had a month of ghost contests and now a month of no contest. Can we get the version of the game where contests actually work correctly?
I’ll always die on the hill that red contests shouldn’t have a green window. But now I feel like 2k should just go ahead and do it. If they not gonna do anything about cheaters at least reward us when we do get a good contest.
Patch 2 came out 2 weeks ago, Tutes found and posted this dead zone a few days later.
How has this still not been patched yet? Is this not something you’d want to fix asap? Or is it supposed to be this way for some reason?
You can’t market an anticheat as one of your games selling points and then the game be overran with cheaters a month after it releases…

Just try SOMETHING. Bans aren’t going out fast enough, it’s only October and cheaters already overrunning the game

Played a cheater last night that was fading from 40 ft….
His random teammates refused to play with a cheater and purposely threw the game for them after this shot 😭
Can’t even really blame them at this point. Regardless of the state of the game, the experience of straight red plate lobbies makes the game miserable. Game would benefit from removing SBMM/plate matchmaking entirely

Remove SBMM please, game actually isn’t miserable in these lobbies. It’s literally a whole other game
