somewhat i do enjoy kota tua more than ancol, as long run end point. more fun. ikutan apel pagi satpam kota tua 😁 senayan -> harmoni = aman. hayamwuruk -> kota tua = halang rintang pembangunan mrt. harus lewat jalur belakang baru enak sepertinya. kita coba minggu depan..

somehow, the mother of a late friend regularly reaches out to me. always through voice notes & stickers. barely any typed text. often talking about this and that, remembering her son, then breaking down in tears. it is my cursed blessing. an irl reminder that we could be in her place someday. kasih ibu sepanjang masa.

Menarik kalau bedah "Dua Sejoli" nya Dewa 19 dari kacamata sekarang. Di satu sisi, ini lagu cinta klasik yang aransemen orkestranya gila-gilaan enaknya. Di sisi lain, sebagian kritikus budaya melihat diksi "perhiasan sangkar maduku" merefleksikan cara pandang relasi gender era itu. Tapi tetep aja, secara komposisi musik, ini salah satu puncak kejayaan pop-rock Indonesia.
