Erika “seems fake” to the world because a true Christ follower like her is not of this world & therefore the world can’t comprehend how someone who has suffered loss can have grace, joy, strength, comfort & the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.

Jesus didn't spend time and eat with sinners because He wanted to appear tolerant and affirming. He spent time with them to show them He is God, and how to live differently.
The Gospel is not about tolerance, it’s about transformation.

The Museum of the Bible is more than a museum - it is an immersive and elucidating experience. In many ways, it felt as if I was partaking in a visceral encounter with God.

Same person.
Different locations.
Same value.
Same worth.
Same personality.
Your location should never determine your humanity.

Let’s talk about why it’s so hard to get back on track after you fall off from God

One of the most intelligent answers I’ve ever heard in response to that question.

This may or may not be THE place, and today may or may not be THE date, but THE FACT remains: He is risen as He promised. That certainty is the Power of the Resurrection and the Hope for humanity. History changed on Easter Sunday. MY history changed on Easter 1983. 🙏 #HeIsRisen

In the gospel of Luke, the prodigal son doesn't return home because of a renewed love for his father. He comes back home simply to survive because he ran out of money and is starving. And his father is perfectly fine with that!
Just come home. God just wants you home.

Florida’s Orange County school district banned cell phones for the entire school day, even during breaks. So kids can’t use them during class and they can't use them during breaks. They have to keep phones in the backpacks at all times. There’s a "We see it, we take it" policy.
"And on the first day, more than 100 phones were confiscated from students. In the following days, confiscations dropped dramatically. This school district has seen a drop in bullying and a rise in student engagement. Teachers report that there has been "newfound life" injected into the classroom. Students are more talkative and more collaborative." (@scrollingtodeath on IG)
What do you guys think about this no phone policy in school? I like it with an emergency policy where they can use phones in a crisis.

Those who are poor in spirit have:
• nothing to prove
• nothing to protect
• nothing to possess
Jesus says the kingdom belongs to these kind of people. People free enough for God to receive the abundance of God's life.

Progressive Christianity is a false religion where your sin can be washed away without the trouble of bothering with a Savour.

Hey my Church of the Nazarene friends. If, you haven’t picked up this book, get it and read it. There are some very great theological and apologetic arguments which are rooted in scripture.

The challenge with the book of Acts is we forget to live between the chapters & verses.
Between all the miraculous stuff, there were ordinary, regular moments of prayer, community building & service.
Perhaps all the miraculous stuff is preceded by a commitment to ordinary stuff
