The poverty and lack of gainful employment in Nigeria has destroyed irrevocably, an entire generation of youths. This is more evident than others in the kinds of things that give us comedic relief on social media, the quality of our discussion and the kinds of characters we elevate on social media. Low thinking, depraved, deranged, unintelligent, retarded, retrogressive , tribalistic , bigoted and cocksucking people are now at the helm of affairs in the realm of twitter influence. Take a look at this fool thinking that a distasteful joke referencing having sex with his girlfriend’s mother is something funny and this tweet has a lot of views. To show the reflection of the minds of Nigerian youths today. Nigerian youths are just blind and ignorant followers , so blind that can’t think for themselves , they can’t counter argue, they can’t prove a point, because they themselves are so ravaged by poverty that they don’t want to offend the big influencer. The exact money worshipping behaviour of our parent’s generation has been transferred to ours. What this implies in summary is that E no go better for Nigeria any time soon. Societies are built by a sense of unity of purpose, a sense of principle, trust surplus, morality , patriotism, honour , pride and glory. A strive for excellence, a renewal of mind and refusal to fail, a paradigm shift, a renaissance, all of which is lacking in Nigeria’s youth today. I feel so pained and so sad everyday I wake up and see how a civilised world should be and I remember my own country , it makes me so sad, I begin to hate and curse Nigeria and curse Nigerians too. It’ll never get better, at least not in our generation. It’s a country built up to self destruct and the numbers show that since 1999, we have been running towards our own demise as a nation. My advise for all promising Nigerians is to flee as quickly as possible before the implosion swallows you with it. Shame! @YarKafanchan please I need you to help retweet this for visibility.

Your pastor is committing adultery in your presence and you are cheering because it aligns with how the world relate. There is no divorce in Christianity. Your old partner must die before you remarry. This is Christianity of Convenience.
Pastor Jimmy odukayo introduced his wife today 👏 God bless this beautiful family Amen🙌🏻

This is from the same school of non-thought as "China is more racist towards black people than the US." The reason why these arguments are wrongheaded and stupid (and the reason why Elon's algorithm is enthusiastically pushing them) is that they remove attention from the systemic issue that has the ability to end your civilisation, and focuses it on petty problems. Whatever African Americans are guilty of against Africans, the fact remains that they have ZERO systemic ability to oppress Africans. The absolute worst they can do is call you "African booty scratcher", or maybe shoot you during a dispute. And avoiding that is easy - you just need to not be around them. The other group of people in question don't need you to go to their country before they can do anything to you. They literally install your governments. They use their giant soft power machine to write your laws - we're currently fighting against the passage of one such law in Nigeria which wants to turn a Bill Gates-funded NGO into a federal institution governing food and agriculture. The last I checked, there is not a single Black American in the history of the world who ever looked at a map and thought "I should cross the ocean and go to this land whose name I can't pronounce, subvert its institutions, take over its government violently, enslave its people, and turn it into my private resource mine with laws forbidding African people from moving around inside their own country." Some people did that and literally renamed the entire African country they conquered after a British paedophile (Rhodesia). They literally launched Project Coast in South Africa where they used Africans as test subjects for biological experiments of all kinds (Google it, it's not illegal to learn new things yet). A European settler farmer literally fed 2 South African women to his pigs last year. How did Elon Musk's dad come to have ownership of an emerald mine in Zambia? Was it the locals that generously gave it to him? Or did Musk and his people spend the 19th and 20th centuries fighting brutal wars of occupation where millions of Africans died? What exactly did the "Black Americans" do that is so terrible in comparison? They called you a slur and they shot a kid? You people should honestly touch grass please. There is never any excuse to say something this unconscionably stupid.
White people don’t even hate Africans as much as black Americans does fr.

As Marxists, it is our duty to be relentless in our pursuit of a better society. We must continuously and tirelessly explain and re-explain. We must ceaselessly fan the embers of class consciousness and rouse the spirit of the masses to embody revolutionary ideas.

"The presence of brown, runny human excreta with flies buzzing around it on the plate served to me by a restaurant raises serious questions about its presentation, hygiene and best practices. My jollof rice is at stake here!" Una still dey speak plenty grammar with people that are not speaking English with you. E say na "our democracy is at stake." Which yeye democracy do we have? Is our president democratically elected? Which election did he win? Whenever una tire for all this performance artistry sha.
INEC cannot afford to be careless with the credibility of Nigeria’s electoral process. The presence of AI-generated images in a register meant to support our democracy raises serious questions about verification, transparency and accountability. Our democracy is at stake here!

The thing about imperialism is that it is ubiquitous and impossible to avoid. Nigerians who think they can have intelligent discussions around politics, economics and business without acknowledging imperialism are just like a castrated man who wants to marry a wife and have kids, but doesn't want to acknowledge his condition. I'm sorry, but just because you're in denial, or the subject makes you uncomfortable, or you don't want to upset your white friends and investors by talking about it does not mean that this 800-foot elephant in the room is going to disappear. The imperial system you live under is why you eat imported rice and your bread is made with imported wheat, while your own agricultural land is used for industrial monoculture plantations growing export crops you can't eat like cocoa and cashew. Imperialism is why your kid goes to school wearing a neck tie, a wool sweater, a thick blazer and cotton socks while the temperature outside is 33⁰C. Imperialism is why you put on your TV news and the presenter is chewing her tongue desperately trying and failing to mimic the accent of a public school headteacher from Abingdon-on-Thames, whereas literally nobody in the history of her watching audience has ever sounded like that. Imperialism is why your central bank interest rate is always double digit, which means that consumer credit is literally nonexistent. No amount of roundtable sessions, seminars, and breakfast meetings with the bankers committee and PhD economists can change that basic eternal reality of your economy. Imperialism is why despite having double digit central bank lending rates, your currency somehow manages to always face inflationary pressure and regularly posts double digit percentage losses in a single day. You can do all the clever economic chart drawings and financial engineering you want, but they are completely useless in the face of imperialist decisions like Structural Adjustment Programs, which you experienced by other names from 1986 to 1988 and from 2023 to 2025. Imperialism is why you can have all your lovely ideas for leadership and governance, and a young population that is hungry for good leadership, but everytime you go into a "democratic election", you end up coming out with Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu. You can read all your "Why Nations Fail" and do all your "PVC sensitisation drives" and do all the "protect the votes" on election day, and at the end of all the wahala, the INEC chairman will announce that a crippled goat with craw-craw has won the election and if you don't like it you will go and meet Kekere-Ekun in court. Imperialism is why when you are having sex with your partner, you moan in English and make American noises even though you've never left Owerri before, and your sexual encounters always happen with a specific sequence that starts from oral and culminates in doggy - it's because all the porn you have ever watched in your life has been hosted and curated by American platforms, and you have over time taken on their sexual personality as your own. Imperialism is why you build with cement blocks plastered with concrete in your 34⁰C climate, even though concrete generates vast amounts of heat as it cures, and it can take years to fully cure, during which time it slowly cooks you in your own house - but rammed earth which your ancestors used is only just becoming a thing once again because white people have "discovered" it and put a brand on it that makes it desirable after they once labelled it as 'primitive'. I could go on and on. As long as you're determined to avoid confronting the ubiquitous and all-pervasive reality of imperialism in Nigeria, you're not really ready to confront whatever problem you are facing, from food to healthcare to education to public policy to poverty. If you're not acknowledging that underlying reality, you're just another Nigerian wasting their whole life performing the appearance of thinking, and creating useless content.

The colonizers have become so weak now that they can't even complete a regime change operation in their own backyard. Congratulations to Lula, BRICS, the Brazilian people and the entire global south.

Zelensky's repeated outbursts against Trump would appear suicidal and counterproductive until you recognise the reality that neither Trump nor Zelensky make any of the real decisions.

1. 🧵#REMARX : 𝑾𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑫𝑶 𝑳𝑬𝑭𝑻 𝑨𝑵𝑫 𝑹𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑻 𝑴𝑬𝑨𝑵 𝑰𝑵 𝑷𝑶𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑪𝑺? Every election season, Nigerian politicians promise to fight corruption, remove bad leaders and bring change. Some even call themselves progressive. Yet after the elections, they implement the same policies as those they replaced, and sometimes even join the parties they previously condemned. This has led some Nigerians to argue that there is no left or right in Nigerian politics, only “what works”. Others ignorantly dismiss left-wing politics as a Western concept that has no place in Nigeria. But this ignores both what left-wing politics means and Nigeria's own history of political struggle.

When the revolution comes, traitors and their investors will have a lot to plead for
Pelumi Joseph on why Dangote is selling his Refinery IPO He says it's not doing it because he needs the money. His target of 10 million investors is an equivalent of an electoral base. Which gives him insurance against government intervention and protects his refinery.

Wrong... That Hundeyin opposes imperialism does not mean that he opposes the Capitalist class in Nigeria. This is not about any personality. It stems from the contradictions capitalism creates and the worsening material conditions of the Nigerian people as a result of the system.

once i saw "Nigerian Left" it became clear this is probably a psyop crafted by one warey in Washington, handed down to them, but they weren't smart enough to filter for the Vocabulary Average Nigerians themselves use💀 Collect your CIA tag jhoor.. i have marked your account
When conspiracy theories replace concrete and scientific political analysis, the consequences go far beyond David Hundeyin. The Nigerian left cannot afford to leave these fatal ideas unchecked. Our latest polemic takes on the poverty of conspiracy theory. Read here: thenaijamarxists.org/analysi…

A serious government would have removed you from society. You are a very dangerous man . Very dangerous.
I saw someone write something about “The Pope passing” but it was satire. Something about him leaving ICU and all. But just for a split second before I got that it was a joke, I caught myself saying out loud “how will something like this happen and God didn’t gist me?” I panicked for a little bit. Not just because I thought the pope passed, but something else. Something of this magnitude and God didn’t talk about it? Ah! I’m done for! But all is well. The pope is still with us. All is well. Nothing to fear concerning I and God’s gists… …for now.

Intelligence usually comes with the self criticism that ignorance lacks. That is why intelligent people are not as vocal with their ideas for fear that they may be wrong.
I wish more intelligent people can be as loud as the ignorant people

China, North Korea, Laos, Vietnam…etc These are communist countries…China runs a mix of capitalism & communism of some sorts anyway. The point is that communism is as painted as evil…Capitalism painted as good by the media. However there’s ample evidence that Democracy isn’t all that and Communism isn’t all evil. Should be easy to decipher but many of you are illiterates. You that have read it all…stop reading.
you really read about Mengistu Ethiopia, Eastern Germany, Pol Pot’s Cambodia and the USSR, plus it’s Eastern-bloc aligned states and came to this conclusion? 💀 like they’re telling you already, keep reading.

It’s not China they fear. It’s what China disproves. That a nation can rise without plunder. That poverty can fall without war. That growth doesn’t need Wall Street permission slips. That a billion people can be fed, housed, and educated without invading anyone. That is what terrifies the empire. Not tyranny. But competence.
