I am thankful for the opportunity to teach: at home, at work, and wherever people are willing to learn together. I am not the smartest or most capable person around, but I'm excited by the learning that comes from teaching.

I have never seen an “Agile maturity model” that did not lead to considerable dysfunction. Truly agile organizations develop their own context-specific ways of working. A “maturity” model assumes a “correct” way to do things and a consistent evolutionary path. 1/2

Given the isolation of working at home, let's have shorter standups twice a day to coordinate better. Wait. Maybe more often is even better! Maybe at the start of every hour. Wait. Why don't we just work collaboratively and skip the standups entirely?

I find it amusing that those who claim to be using DDD and teaching others how to use DDD aren't willing to look up the meaning of a word in a dictionary. Takes less time to find than tweet.
DDD is not about aggregates and invisible messaging. It's about language in a context.

2 months into TDD:
Tests are hard to write & brittle.
2 years in:
Tests taught me better code patterns, reduce bugs 40%-80% and eliminate fear of change.
