On behalf of the British people, I would like to apologise for the slave trade. I am sorry we were the first great power in history to turn its guns on it. I am sorry it cost us around 2,000 sailors to free 150,000 people they would never meet. I am sorry the rest of the world took so long to follow. Slavery did not begin with Britain. It is as old as civilisation. Babylon wrote it into law. Rome built an empire on it. The Vikings sold Englishmen through the slave market at Dublin. In 1625 Barbary corsairs took 60 men, women and children out of a Cornish church; by 1640 Parliament was told 3,000 to 5,000 English people were held in Algiers alone. Every great power of the age took part in the Atlantic trade. Portugal and Spain for a century before an English ship did. Then the Dutch, the French — and the British, who in the eighteenth century carried more than anyone. That is the record. It is not disputed here. Then a nation turned on the trade that had made it rich. Wilberforce's bill was beaten year after year. On 25 March 1807 it passed. Then Britain did the part the critics never mention — it sent the Royal Navy to enforce it. The West Africa Squadron sailed in 1808, two ships for 3,000 miles of coast, and hunted slavers for nearly sixty years. Britain paid Spain and Portugal to open their ships to search. HMS Black Joke ran down the slaver El Almirante in 1829 and found 466 people in her hold. Around 2,000 British sailors died doing it — most of fever, to free people they would never meet. 1,600 slave ships seized. 150,000 Africans set free. In 1833 Parliament borrowed £20 million to end slavery across the Empire. The debt was not finally redeemed until 2015. The United States needed a civil war. Cuba held slaves until 1886. Brazil until 1888 — eighty-one years after Westminster voted. Yes, we took part in the trade. Every power of the age did. None of them fought it like we did. So yes. I will apologise. I am sorry it cost us so much. I am sorry the rest of the world took so long to follow. That is not something you apologise for. That is something you teach. #history #britishhistory #royalnavy #westafricasquadron

I currently have a Muslim terrorising me and blackmailing me that if I don’t shut my page down they are going to post my address online. They also ring me every morning, day and night off a withheld number. It’s been going on for about 6 months now. I allow both sides to post. Any colour or creed. This page is for everyone. But they don’t want that. They only want to silence people. I wonder why? I will never be bullied into silence by these monsters. Never ever let free speech die 🙏

🚨 EMERGENCY WARNING TO EVERY PENSIONER IN GREAT BRITAIN: LABOUR IS PREPARING THE ULTIMATE WEALTH GRAB! If you worked hard for 40 years, paid your taxes, and saved for retirement, Prime Minister Andy Burnham has just placed a massive target firmly on your back. The highly influential IPPR think tank, which is packed with Burnham's own inner circle, just published the exact socialist blueprint Labour plans to use to bail out their bankrupt government. 🤡 Look at the terrifying three step robbery they are demanding for the October Budget. First, slapping National Insurance directly onto the incomes of 9.6 million British pensioners. Second, hiking capital gains tax to a staggering 40 percent to crush your investments. Third, a devastating 0.65 percent annual property wealth tax just for the privilege of living inside your own family home! They label you "wealthy" to justify stealing the nest egg you spent a lifetime building. Yet they magically find endless billions to house illegal arrivals in catered hotels without blinking an eye. They treat the generation that built this country like an absolute cash machine while engineering our total national decline. The mask has completely slipped. RT and SHARE this everywhere to warn every single retiree in Great Britain before Chancellor John Healey raids their bank accounts! 🇬🇧🔥

IMPORTANT FOR THE $XRP COMMUNITY A scam is circulating across the XRPL right now, and a lot of wallets are receiving it. Scammers are sending random XRPL Checks or other transactions to public wallet addresses. Inside the transaction memo, they include a website link and language designed to make it look like you need to claim, verify, redeem, or take some kind of action. Do not click the link in the memo. The ledger activity itself doesn’t mean they have access to your wallet. Your XRPL address is public, so anybody can send transactions or Checks toward it. The danger starts when someone follows the link, connects their wallet, enters sensitive information, or signs a transaction they don’t understand. If a random Check appears in your wallet with a link in the memo, do not interact with it. Do not click it. Do not connect your wallet. Do not enter your seed phrase or private keys. Do not sign anything. Ignore it. Scammers are using the XRPL itself to deliver the phishing bait. Seeing it on-chain does not make the website legitimate. Please share this with the $XRP community. People are getting these right now.

We got the same problem with imposter accounts
At what point does a social platform become complicit in facilitating scams? Asking for a friend, @X

Luckily, We Have Farms 🇬🇧 Drought has tested British fields this summer. Yields are down, grass is scarce, and prices are feeling it. But here’s the good news: we still grow our own food. Those farms mean fresher produce, shorter supply chains, and more control over what ends up in our baskets. When the weather turns extreme, home-grown food keeps more of what we need closer to home. You can strengthen that foundation every time you shop: ✅ Look for the Red Tractor logo or clear “British” labelling ✅ Support farm shops, farmers’ markets & local veg boxes ✅ Choose seasonal UK produce when it’s available ✅ Waste less — stretch a tighter harvest further Drought will keep coming. But as long as we have farms — and choose to stand behind them — we keep more of our food secure. Luckily for us, we do. Let’s make the most of them. #BuyBritish #SupportUKFarmers #BritishFarming #FarmToFork #RedTractor #ShopLocal #FoodSecurity #UKAgriculture @NoFarmsNoFoods

Spot on!! 🎯😎😆 I can’t wait for the comments!! Nicklas Nilsson explains the difference between right-wing and left-wing people in spot-on text on Facebook: "If a right-wing person is gay, then he is, and he doesn't care what others think. If a left-winger is gay, then he demands legal changes, protests against everything and everyone, and turns it into a political struggle. If a right-winger is vegan, then he simply doesn't eat meat. If a left-winger is vegan, then he wants to ban meat, halt food production, and protest outside farms and chicken farms. If a right-winger doesn't like guns, then he just doesn't buy any. If a left-winger doesn't like guns, then he tries to ban them, prevent everyone else from owning one, and hates those who do. If a right-winger is worried about the climate, then he flies less, drives an electric car if it suits him, and sorts his waste. If a left-winger is worried about the climate, then he wants to ban fossil fuel cars, air travel, and meat for everyone else, protest outside factories, and demand that the state forces the change. If a right-winger wants to give his children a good education, then he moves to an area with good schools, or chooses a private school, or gets involved himself. If a left-winger wants to give his children a good education, then he demands more tax money from everyone, equal results for all, a ban on charter schools, and protests against every inequality. If a right-winger complains about his job or workplace.. he doesn't. He changes jobs or starts his own business. If a left-winger complains about his job – then it's the boss, the company, or the colleagues who are at fault. He demands collective agreements, strikes, changes for the whole community, and protests against the company so that it suits him. If a right-winger is dissatisfied with his housing or rent, then he moves, renovates, or buys something else. If a left-winger is dissatisfied with his housing or rent, then he demands rent freezes, more subsidies, regulations for everyone, and protests against landlords and politicians. If a right-winger fails with a business or an investment that goes wrong, then he gets up, dusts himself off, and tries again tomorrow. If a left-winger runs out of money on the 24th, then he blames the rich for having too much and needing to contribute more, blames the lottery win that didn't come home last week, and mutters that he has such damn bad luck. If a right-winger sees this – then he sends it to a few friends for a good laugh. If a left-winger sees this – then he tries to argue against it, get it removed, and delete me from Facebook."

🚨 YOU LITERALLY HAVE TO READ THIS TO BELIEVE IT. If you own a home, have a pension, or plan to leave an inheritance, Andy Burnham's leaked economic plans should terrify you. 🤡 He is planning to scrap the capital gains tax "uplift on death," meaning grieving families will be hit with double tax bills on inherited family homes. Begbies Chartered Accountants confirmed this double levy will hit grieving families with an effective 62% tax rate! But it gets even worse. Burnham wants to replace council tax with a new annual property tax of 0.48% of your home's value. If you live in an average £553,000 house, you will be forced to pay £2,654 every single year just for the privilege of living in your own home! They want to tax you while you live, tax you when you die, and tax your children for mourning you. RT to expose the ultimate Labour wealth grab and demand a general election NOW! 🔁🇬🇧🔥
