These types of tropes are made to groom women to accept the worst, filthiest men. A man would never love a monster woman.

This is a topic I could speak about at length but unfortunately I don’t have the character count. High level it’s grooming, isolation + toxic workplace and systemic failures/ abuse of power.

This is why I said it’s incredibly undermining to silence testimonies of anti-African xenophobia and reduce it to “diaspora wars”. As a community we need to address afrophobia. We can recognise it pedals anti-blackness globally but we refuse to admit that it’s propagated in-house
People do not like it when you want to be intentional about having children. I always tell people I’m not having children without a certain amount in the bank account and without extensive pre-counseling, including medical counseling. They be mad asf
I stumble on TikToks of people who planned for kids and i wish more people talked about it, I’m seeing couples change eating habits, embrace fitness, save for their kids expenses, intentionally move to areas with good zip codes for school sake, heck even plan what time in the year they’re conceiving, to ensure they’re born in the right timeframe for school. It’s alot of work that goes into kids!

If the world is getting a little too much may I recommend the inexplicably obsolete word ‘latibulating’, from the 17th century? To latibulate is to find a cosy corner somewhere and hide in it.

Yes, but Africans deserve to live, travel and exist freely without constantly having to fear for their lives.

I am entirely unmoved by the AI hysteria one way or the other. deeply uninteresting hype and somewhat uninteresting critique. I am just sure that sticking to the craft you’re good at will have far more value in an AI-pilled society once the pendulum swings back, as it always does
