According to #MarineTraffic data, the vessel began manoeuvring at 04:20 UTC on 9 December before stopping and drifting roughly 20 minutes later, as she encountered high winds associated with Storm Emilia. The ship subsequently altered course and, later that evening at 20:45 UTC, updated her AIS destination from Singapore to Las Palmas. The vessel waited off port limits (OPL) for around an hour before arriving in Las Palmas on Wednesday morning, where she remains as of today. General Average declared after multi-day fire on containership A fire that broke out aboard the ONE Henry Hudson while the vessel was berthed at the Port of Los Angeles on November 21 triggered a multi-day emergency response involving terminal crews, LAFD units, and the U.S. Coast Guard. According to #MarineTraffic data, the ship was undocked and moved offshore in the early hours of November 22, heading to an anchorage outside the port as firefighting efforts continued. The vessel remained at anchor through November 23, with responders working to suppress remaining hotspots and conduct stability and structural assessments. Once conditions allowed, the ONE Henry Hudson returned to berth to begin a complex cargo-removal operation. On November 28, the vessel’s owners formally declared General Average, initiating the process requiring cargo owners to provide guarantees before containers can be released.
