We're building a broad coalition in this campaign.
If you're a Florida Republican still deciding how to cast your ballot tomorrow, I'd appreciate your support.
I am fascinated by this suggestion that it is controversial to say we shouldnβt use our tax dollars βdropping bombs on somebody else and their kids.β
Spoiler: that is not a controversial statement. And you canβt bully people into believing it is.
Abdul El-Sayed literally just repeated the gist of the claim that got him in hot water this week:
βIt shouldn't be this hard to pay taxes and know that that money's gonna be spent on you and your kids, instead of dropping bombs on somebody else and their kids.β
That is the essence of the highly controversial ad that caused Haley Stevens to break with him and sparked condemnation from Jewish leaders across America.
Stevens says her decision to endorse Mike Rogers was βnot impulsive,β which means she lied to everyone she spoke to the night before when she told them she was not breaking with El-Sayed. Or sheβs lying now.

We got your back, New York!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Several figures here arenβt federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan β May 2026).

Unearthed video: Bill Clinton praises the 2007 University of Michigan senior speaker, Abdul El-Sayed, on his commencement speech
"I don't want to embarrass your senior speaker. But I wish every person in the world who believes that we are fated to have a clash of civilizations and cannot reach across the religious divides could've heard you speak today. I just wish every person in the world could've heard you speak today."

This discourse againβ¦not a single person knocking the removal of the LSAT Logic Games bothers rebutting the legal argument: that it disadvantages disabled people
Replying to @olivertraldi
Holy fuck. From a locked mutual I learned that Stevens's fiance is responsible for the logic games being removed from the LSAT. Do whatever you want with him
No test anxiety is absolutely a real thing but itβs very much an overblown issue
I swear a lot of the convo around "test anxiety" also starts this way.
Student gets straight As but fails standardized tests? He's just bad at taking tests!
Tests scare the student while homework/quizzes/projects are a breeze? Well she must have anxiety!
The reality is that they aren't actually learning the content, their grades are heavily inflated, and the test exposes that. The student is at least subconciously aware that they don't know the actual material, so test day is hugely stressful. Not because they "have anxiety," but because they simply don't know the material and are walking into the test knowing they will fail.
person doing better when they have more time to do something and NOT when they are forced to recall as much information as possible is a well observable phenomenon and this happens with highly intelligent kids as well
