Idea Launch has an MCP server, so you can set up an idea test from Claude or any MCP client: draft the brief, generate the ad, preview the page, and get the market read without leaving your agent.
Setup guide: idea-launch.io/mcp?utm_sourc…
A small demand test is most useful when it tells you it isn't enough to decide.
Here's a real readout from one of our own side projects, FindMyBnB. Not a customer result, just what you actually get back.
The question: would people looking for short-term rentals click through to a directory where they book directly with owners?
The test: one 24-hour ad on Facebook and Instagram, sent to the product's existing site.
What happened: 4.08% click-through rate and 28 visits. The signup form wasn't connected, so this measured traffic only.
The read: promising (68/100), but confidence was low (39/100). One test wasn't enough to decide.
So the recommended next step was another pass, not a build. A clearer next decision, not a verdict.
$49 per test, ad costs included. Create your idea and review the ad free, pay when you run it. Link in bio.
If you spend most of your day in Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode, you can now set up an Idea Launch test without leaving the editor. The MCP server drafts the brief and the ad creative, then reads back the market read once the run is done. Starting a paid test still happens in the web app, on purpose.
Setup takes a couple of minutes: idea-launch.io/mcp
Lesson I keep relearning: the version of an idea I'm most excited to build is rarely the version strangers respond to first. I tend to pitch the clever part, and people care about the boring problem it makes go away. Testing two or three angles before writing code is the quickest way I know to find out which one they actually mean.
When you read an early demand test, split it into two questions. Did the ad make a stranger stop and click? Did the page keep the promise the ad made? A decent click-through rate with almost no signups usually points at the page rather than the idea. Fix the page before you write the idea off.

Anyone else ever open up X on mobile, see a post they are interested in then it disappears and now you have to decide how much time your going to spend trying to find it?
Lesson I keep relearning: a landing page with no traffic is a brochure. It only becomes a test once strangers who owe you nothing land on it and either leave an email or leave.
I create project specific X accounts too early.
See this account for an example of that.
Should stay focused on my primary dev account @APSquaredDev .

Idea Launch runs a small ad test for your idea and hands back a market read: click-through rate, signups, and a validation score. The point is a straight answer on whether strangers care before you build the MVP.
Test one audience and one promise at a time. If you change both and the numbers move, you have no idea which change did it.
