In this MDP internal election, I will vote for candidates who uphold professionalism, accountability, and integrity. Who treat others with respect, even in disagreement, and who refrain from character assassination and defamation. I believe in leaders who are hardworking, productive, and fearless in defending people’s rights without malice or hatred. We need leaders who are firm without being cruel, courageous without being hateful, and principled in both their words and actions. #RiseMDP #MakeMDPGreatAgain.

Blaming victims in the Thinadhoo cases only deepens the harm. Protection of victims, including anonymity, counselling and legal support, is the state’s obligation. Authorities must provide clear public updates on investigative progress and victim safeguarding. @MoHmv @PoliceMv @HomeMinistrymv @min_mohst

The victim-blaming commentary surrounding the rape cases in Thinadhoo is deeply concerning. Reports suggest even minors are victims, yet even parents are facing blame. Blaming victims deepens harm; survivors & families deserve compassion, without subjecting them to public judgment.
