In a functional nation, Kamwana would be in remand, shuffling daily between Milimani and Kamiti.
That is why everything is being done not to let someone with Sifuna’s supposed ethos near Arboretum.
SGR Gravy Train
The World Bank says Kenya overpaid up to 117 billion shillings for the construction of the Mombasa-Naivasha Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), compared with similar projects by peers like Tanzania, partly because of fraud in land compensation and an uncompetitive contract award.

We are still not angry enough as a country.
That's KES 120B gone, most likely into someone's pockets
Kenya allegedly spent $900 million more than it should have for a Chinese-built railway because of rampant corruption, fraud and graft bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

No opposition presidential candidate has the numbers that Sifuna has nationwide. You can take that to the bank. It is Sifuna who holds the key to sending Kasongo home.
And you can't micromanage his influence. It is impossible.

DOA. An Act of Parliament can't amend a constitutional definition. Either alcohol is sold to all adults, or to none.
This afternoon the National assembly will introduce the Alcoholic Drinks and Drugs Control Laws (Amendment) Bill (National Assembly Bill No. 63 of 2026). A bill that seeks to amend the Alcoholics Drinks Control Act, Cap. 121 to increase the alcohol consumption age from 18yrs to 21yrs.

So the issue facing manufacturing in Kenya is lack of funds and not energy costs, unpredictable taxes and unfavorable business environment? Why the obsession with coming up with a "Fund" at every turn?
President William Ruto says the government is setting up an Industrialisation Fund.
He says the target of the Industrialisation Fund will be to lend to manufacturers at single digits. He hasn't said how it will be capitalised.
There's also a proposed Green Investment Fund being set up targeting US$200 million (Kes 25.99 billion) in capitalisation (see quoted tweet).
Bro!!!
If production increased, there would be no shortage.
If production increased and consumption increased, prices would be stable. They aren't!
What we know about economic theory doesn't support this argument.
My verdict? It's a lie!

Hell no, bye. You think that’s how China overtook the West? Clowns.
Dear Young Ones who will vote in 2027. As an old man I want to tell you that 99.9% of the quality of your life is shaped by the people elected to run the Government every election year. Some of us millennials have lived this reality of “Atamaliza aende” and it never happens.

When we tried to advise our learned friends that their choice was a downgrade of Faith Odhiambo, lawyers lectured us here and defended why their choice was Charles Kanjama as their president. That an LSK president is not an activist, and they chose someone who will “focus on member welfare” and not defend the public. 4 days later an advocate is abducted, and LSK is yet to be heard.

One category of professional on this continent that I am truly terrified of is the Kenyan Development Expert.
He/She is always the FIRST African to adopt and rationalise anything that comes from the wazungu in suits, no matter how extractive or dystopian.
If the European slave trade resumed today, you can bet your house that there will be a Kenyan Development Expert overseeing the barracoons, using terms like "Supervised Human Talent Relocation" and "Involuntary Personnel Transshipment".
Like his cousins the Nigerian tech founder and the Senegalese NGO director, he has no concept whatsoever of general or localised African interest, and his mental environment is one of the most selfishly, abominably capitalist places on earth.
These guys fill my soul with actual terror. I'm genuinely scared of them.
"Non Revenue Water" fucking hell...

Our Constitution envisages an Independent Police Service and an Inspector General who is responsible for the enforcement of law and order without direction from anyone. Thats why our Courts require the IG to be the one to produce people who have been lawfully arrested. Unfortunately this system can’t work where the regime sets up parallel police squads away from the IG’s command. This is exactly why LMM insists on Constitutionalism and the Rule of Law. I will not be surprised if the IG shows up and tells the court, just like he did in the Twaha Mwaipaya case, that he doesn’t know where lawyer Abshar Abdi is.

The Government of Kenya should not register, count, or recognise "tribes." Instead, the population should be organised legally under individual citizenship and civil law.

Habit is acquired. No one is born a thief. Thieving is an acquired habit. So it is quite possible you were a good/clean boy when you were "supporting others" but grew up into a thieving man.
