As long as the ball isn't gathered (the ball hasn't come to rest while controlling it) there's no limit on the number of steps between dribbles/before the gather.

I’m here with @EnesFreedom and we were supposed to go to the WNBA Finals Game tonight and sit on the floor with these shirts:

The NBA said these shirts were a security threat and may ‘target’ and ‘harm’ players.
Director of Security and Chief of Security for NBA called and said we are not allowed to sit on the floor and they won’t let us in the arena unless we go in the player entrance and go just to a box as far away form the game as possible.
This is madness. Feels discriminatory. All this just for asking the ‘Women’s’ Basketball league What is a Woman?
Angel Reese was the star of Game 3, with a boatload of help from her teammates, including Howard who found her offensive groove to match her incredible defense. But some weird dude wanted to be the star, so they gave him a fancy suite that apparently wasn’t fancy enough for him.
