We just raised $2M.
From building Neo 1 out of scrap parts⌠to becoming one of the worldâs fastest-growing AI wearable startups, this journey has been unreal.
Proud to announce our $2M seed round led by Merak Ventures, with participation from incredible angels who believed in us long before the world did.
India will win the AI wearable race, and weâre building that future.
Neo 1 was just the beginning.
Next: the OS layer for all AI assistants - glasses, pendants, rings, everything.
To everyone who supported us through the chaos, the doubt, and the grind â this one is for you.
Couldnât agree more! I donât think anyone who watches football doesnât admire @HKane. He is an example of hard work, commitment and perseverance.
Itâs equally great to see, Messi in the top 5 again at age of 39.
Really great to see that @cortisoul_ and @matiks_play have raised the new round. Theyâre amongst the most amazing folks in the Indian Startup Ecosystem đ.
we raised $10M to take Matiks from India to the world đ§ đ
not long ago, it was just a few of us who believed mind sports could go mainstream. most people called it niche.
last month, 2.2M people played 48M brain games on Matiks. they couldâve kept scrolling, and they didnât.
our longest streak has crossed 689 days. players run google meets to coach each other. one called us âthe cure to my doomscrollingâ and we still arenât over it.
huge welcome to General Catalyst and Unilazer Ventures, and thank you Info Edge Ventures, Tanglin Venture Partners and Untitled Ventures for backing us again.
whatâs next:
â taking Matiks to the US
â more games across math, memory, logic and puzzles
â an AI engine so anyone can build a brain game millions can play
to Sudhanshu, Sushant, Mohan and the whole Matiks team: you took a simple idea and made millions fall in love with using their brains.
to our players: none of this exists without you. this oneâs for you â¤ď¸
Also, this is absolutely true.
Our Head of Marketing and Head of Product were both part of Atherâs early journey. They have often spoken about how difficult it was to get Indian institutional VCs to back Ather.
Why are Indian VCs so afraid to take risk and make money?
Someone should go to India and take risk and make money.

Shots fired! Ten Hagâs latest interview has plenty to say about Ronaldoâs work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to the team.
Got the cutest bottle within a gift set after a roundtable event. Perfectly sized to carry a few pegs in concerts đ

And yes, putting pressure on officials to fight for your team is perfectly normal in F1. Itâs part of the team principalâs job.
Toto does it and still does it today. Ron Dennis did the same during the McLaren-Mercedes era.
You are there to fight for your team, not to make life easy for your rivals.
đ¨ | Christian Horner admits he put pressure on Michael Masi at Abu Dhabi 2021:
âI decided to apply some more pressure on race control. âCome on, Michael, we need to get this race going; why arenât we getting these lapped cars out the way?â I said.â
ââItâll be such a shame to end everything under a safety. The lapped cars should unlap. Letâs race.ââ

Everyone was wowed by Teslaâs flying car, and rightly so. Itâs a giant leap for humanity.
Funnily enough, many of us shared it as the solution to Indiaâs traffic problems.
We keep talking about smog, traffic, rising oil prices and our dependence on imports. Yet, a disproportionate amount of our capital continues to chase the present rather than fund the future.
But seriously, why shouldnât we be allowed to dream this big and take risks?
The present and the future are equally important.
Look at China. It made massive bets on EVs, batteries and the entire supply chain. Today, its electrification provides a significant buffer against oil price shocks.
If we want a different future for India, we must be willing to fund it before it becomes obvious.
My X feed is filled with househelp startups burning enormous amounts of capital to capture market share.
Meanwhile, I know multiple deep-tech startups generating significantly more revenue with far less burn, yet struggling to raise even a fraction of that capital.
To me, this is one of the biggest problems with our ecosystem.
We say we want to build products in India for the world, but we invest far less in the future than the US does.
We cannot become a deeptech powerhouse if our capital keeps chasing the present instead of funding the future.
The numbers are absolutely staggering. We invest ONLY 5% of the Venture Capital on DeepTech Startups.
Replying to @imDhananjay
Has not. Cannot. Will not.
Funding future is lab.
Funding present is production.
Both by science and business, lab is always concentrated in one or two places.
It's not just India. No country has become deeptech powerhouse other than USA.

We have a BIG retention problem.
Our retention has been increasing month over month, far beyond what we expected.
We just crossed 500K minutes of user conversations in a single day, taking us to 37M+ minutes of conversations to date.
The challenge? The more users come back, the more compute we need.
We are doubling down on cost optimisation and believe open-source models will continue to drive inference costs down.
When users keep coming back, you know youâre building something that has a strong PMF.
Wow! This absolutely unreal. I never thought we would someday be seeing flying cars.
@elonmusk must be like haters gonna hate, builders gonna build.
In the age of personal AI assistants, hardware form factors will have an unfair advantage: more context, captured seamlessly.
Today, most AI agents are optimising around similar APIs from Google, Microsoft, Slack, and others.
The real differentiator will be how much context an agent has about you.
The most interesting part of the entire Starlink vs Jio debate is that @elonmusk might end up giving payouts to people who criticise him on his own platform.
Not many have the courage to build a platform where even their critics can monetise their criticism, and staying true to it.
In fact, I truly believe that everyone should priotise reading over working out.
Intellectual individuals are significantly more sexier.
Yesterday, we hit 30 lakh in revenue in a single day from our consumer business.
Last December, we were averaging just 40,000 a day. Thatâs a 75x jump in daily revenue.
Many told us consumer hardware would be difficult to scale in India. We chose to focus on building, scaling, and letting the numbers do the talking.
