Some days, I don’t even know what to say anymore. I just know I want Lauretta to get through this. ❤️‍🩹 Cancer has taken so much from her, and I’m looking forward to the day all of this becomes a thing of the past. Until then, we keep going, one day at a time. Please keep my sister in your prayers. 🤲🏾❤️

Hey everyone. I'm still crowdfunding for my mom's eye surgery. Things are really dire and we've been able to raise 1.2M out of the needed 2.8M Naira. All support is welcome, really nothing is too small. 8106610083 Opay Akinwande Oluwadamilare Remilekun. oncrowdr.com/explore/c/help-…

Sigh, this is exactly how I felt about that post.
Saw a post on IG about things that can be done in Lagos to make society inclusive for Muslims and lot of the things complained about are available up North. I remember a conversation I had with Offa boy in March this year when I told him that being in Kano felt like I had relocated from Nigeria to an Islamic state. There is so much consciousness. Practically everywhere has accommodation for prayer and wudu, there are so many mosques, and there is more consideration for Islamic dressing. I saw secondary school girls wearing niqab to school, even. Even the timing of events and break periods, factor in prayer times but it is not the same in the South. Of course, I frown against discriminatory practices and policies, especially those that affect the rights of Muslims to go to school, work and live in peace and harmony. Nobody should have to suffer discrimination for practising their religion but some of us need stop whining that you went to a mall and couldn’t find a secluded place to perform ablution and pray. There is a difference between being discriminated against and being in an environment where the infrastructure and facilities you want are not readily available. You would have to adjust or move up North if having that kind of environment is important to you. I was in Delta State for two weeks, and the only time I heard the adhan was when I went to the mosque but in Lagos, I hear the adhan at least five times a day. My point is that we cannot demand to be allowed to live our ordinary lives without scrutiny and discrimination because Nigeria is a secular state, and at the same time, demand special concessions for ourselves. It doesn’t work that way. Not every part of the country will offer the same experience and we shouldn’t treat every inconvenience as discrimination 🤷🏽‍♀️

You’re just an idiot.
This is why most women don’t deserve voting rights This one is vehemently defending a scam out of emotion without seeing any evidence even when she’s told the accused has a pattern of lies and soliciting money for same health reasons

Pele o, head prefect of Yoruba people.
‘Yoruba minority group’ ? Lmao you must be high on cheap drugs. You non-Yorubas impose your worldview on Yoruba people and give opinions where non is requested.

I realised that the @OfficialAPCNg Youth Leader @dayoisrael has deleted the video he was bragging of sharing brand new 2026 Prado, each costing at least ₦190 million, depending on whether it is A Prado Adventure, Luxury or Premium. The most scary part of this all is that he had tagged the first lady, RAT @SenRemiTinubu & even thanked her for the continuous support. Where are they getting these monies? What is their budgets? These people are just here to loot & steal the fortune of this country. Only time would tell the extent of damage T-Pain & his people have done to Nigeria. The @officialEFCC would overlook this. The @NGRSenate @HouseNGR won't see anything here to investigate. THE DISASTER OF NADECO DEMOCRACY.

Let’s be so for real right now. Why would you dress like an Owo bride if you’re not from Owo? The fact that they’re a subset of the Yoruba people doesn’t mean you can appropriate their traditional attire just because you want to wear it for your wedding.
Owo clothing is an ancient Yoruba tradition from Owo Kingdom in Ondo State. So, for your wedding, instead of an Edo setup, try Owo clothing. Culturally closer to home for you as a Yoruba woman, and absolutely beautiful. 😉
