So this and the math made me so sad. My oldest will be graduated from high school, my youngest will be a senior in high school. I will be 49 years old. My kids won’t be into trick-or-treat. We’re going all out 🥹

My daughter had a miscarriage. Second trimester. Loss that nobody talks about. She came home from the hospital broken. Physically and otherwise. I stayed with her. Didn’t try to make it better. Just stayed. Cooked. Cleaned. Sat with her while she cried. Didn’t say it will be okay because it wasn’t okay and we both knew it. Just said I’m here. For as long as you need. She needed three months. Three months of her mother in her house. Doing laundry. Making soup. Sitting in the dark with her.
