Lido Earn started an experiment to see if the user-first and security rigor that makes up a large part of Lido staking DNA could be extended into DeFi strategies.
After initial success, now, via the simplification of the initial ETH-based vaults into EarnETH and the addition of EarnUSD, Lido takes a significant step into a wider and more prominent role across further facets of DeFi.
In tandem with the recently-approved initiative by LDO tokenholders to put up ~$5m in capital from the DAO treasury as first-loss capital into these vaults, Earn vaults stand to offer a truly unique option for discerning users of DeFi.
