oh, if only. it would be a dream come true if she ever found a worthy man who would agree to such a marriage.

was rhea calling to share a bed with him? otherwise, even the king cannot physically force two people to bed each other if they don't want to. honestly, it is quite enviable. he was still able to live like a free man while having the security of an empty, fruitless marriage.

then maybe he should've kept rhea alive. it might be an unpleasant shackle but at least there wasn't any pressure. he could've continued using the empty marriage as a shield. but now he has to worry about if he'll get forced into another marriage — and the next one may be worse.

mm, he's quite lucky.

he might be spared if.. unfortunate incidents occur every time the king — or more likely, the hand — tries to arrange marriages. that or just find someone pleasing enough to marry before arrangements can be made.

Would forcing the marriage even work this time? after all, he's no stranger to flying off, leaving the seven kingdoms behind.

a shame that it took a death to finally free them both though. if only the king had granted an annulment long ago.

ah, it must be such a relief to him then. free of his burdensome shackles, able to live as he wishes now without those worries.

does he already have a potential future bride in mind?

many women will likely find that a blessing. good luck.

such a tragedy.
