cobalt 11 brings on-device media processing, huge performance improvements, and refreshed ui local processing is enabled for all desktop users starting now, so you can enjoy best compatibility with players and editing tools, no extra remuxing required :) cobalt.tools

we do NOT have any crypto coins or other crypto-related projects. if someone claims to be selling "cobalt tools" or "meow camera" coins, they're a scammer. avoid them and don't fall prey to them. our only official communication accounts are @justusecobalt and @imputnet

cobalt 10 introduces the completely rebuilt web app, on-device remuxing, community instance support, network tunneling, and much more! this is our biggest update yet, and we really hope you like it just as much as we enjoyed building it. try it now! cobalt.tools/

current version of cobalt is not accessible at all, and we want to make sure that upcoming release is the polar opposite. we believe that everyone should have access to good software, and from now on we will be going an additional extra mile to make sure of that!

if you use screen readers or other accessibility tools and want to help us develop the most accessible media tools ever, please tell us in dms, we will give you access to a pre-release version of cobalt and ask you to give us your feedback & to later test the possible fixes ❤️
