As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), in collaboration with Red Swastik, organised a Mega Free Cancer Diagnosis and Cardiac (Heart) Check-up and Operation Camp to promote accessible healthcare for communities within the JNPA ecosystem. The camp was inaugurated by Smt. Manisha Jadhav, General Manager (Administration) & Secretary, JNPA, marking another step towards strengthening community healthcare and well-being. The initiative aims to facilitate free health check-ups, support early detection of cancer and cardiac conditions, and improve access to timely medical consultation for local residents. By encouraging preventive healthcare and greater health awareness, the camp seeks to help individuals take informed steps towards better health. JNPA, in collaboration with @RSALogistics, inaugurated Phase 1 of its 25-hectare automated Empty Container Yard at Nhava Sheva, developed by RSA Global under the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) initiative. The first phase introduces digital-first yard operations with real-time inventory visibility, OCR-enabled automated gate operations, QR and RFID-based container tracking, inspection facilities, dedicated truck parking and an integrated internal road network. The facility will strengthen empty container storage and handling capabilities while supporting more efficient and transparent yard operations. On the occasion of the 11th National Ayurveda Day, JNPA organised a series of wellness initiatives at the JNPA Hospital and Administration Building to promote holistic health and well-being in both work and everyday life. An Ayurveda Health Camp was held at JNPA Hospital and inaugurated by Smt. Manisha Jadhav, General Manager (Admin) & Secretary, JNPA. The camp offered JNPA employees free health check-ups, Ayurvedic consultations, and personalised wellness guidance. At the JNPA Administration Building, employees also explored an Ayurveda Corner and attended an insightful lecture by Ayurvedacharya Dr. Amit Dave, who shared practical Ayurvedic principles for maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Through these initiatives, JNPA continues to encourage preventive healthcare and wellness by promoting the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda, inspiring employees to adopt healthier habits for a balanced and mindful life.
