Some weeks ago we discussed with @MrNick_Buzz from @MoveVirtual how to structure the sales funnel architecture better and how to run future Ads on Facebook for their campaigns.

Pretty happy about day one of launch.
People spent on average 7 minutes in the app. 🫶

You don’t need 5 tools to get marketing done.
You need one that thinks with you.
Coopa helps you:

Why did nobody ever built an Appsumo alternative?
Their business model is soo smart.
You give appsumo 70%.
They advertise the hell out of your product.
They currently have so many ads just on meta.
Not talking about SEO, and other channels.
Basically unlimited marketing budget.
What if someone built a directory just with commission?
40% or something. No like upfront payment, $50-200, like everyone does.
Long term profit will only happen for you if you all the time onboard new people?
You‘d still have 20% profit. 20% you use for growth, no?
Too simple math?
Or is it that nobody wants to take the risk of first months without any profit, bc commission base is hard?

Did marketing for a SaaS client.
Post went viral → users started DMing for access.
600+ comments in 24h.
One guy reached out, I sent him the link.
He replied with a screenshot.
His own review was featured on the website.
That’s when I knew:
Right audience.
Time to scale.

First view of the coopa user interface. ✌️
Added direct call to actions in the chat so you can start right away.
Still a lot of things and details i need to add to make the user experience as smooth as possible.
Workflows must be smooth like butter, but currently they are not there yet. 🧈
Will not ship unti i am 100% happy.

Is it embarrassing to be this excited about my own features in the app?
Don’t care. I love it.

If you‘re in business long enough, you get used to get kicked out of groups.
You get used to get rejected in DMs, emails, calls.
You get used about people lying.
You get used about people not paying.
You just get used to shit.
But you‘re still human.
And sometimes it hits, and you ask yourself wtf am i even doing here.
I could just sit there, have a boring factory job where i get paid decent money.
No headaches.
No rejections.
Just peace of mind.
But the peace of mind is a dangerous thing.
If you‘re driven by somethinh bigger.
That‘s why we get up everyday.
Build. Market. Sell.
Get rejected.
Try it again and again and again…

I’ve been pretty silent on X, but after 250 days of building, here’s the real update on what actually happened.
– launched apps that flopped
– launched apps that gained traction
– calls with big guys in the space
– $12K B2B deal
– strategies that worked (and the ones that didn’t)
– brought on a co-founder
– cold calling and cold outreach for SaaS
– what’s next?
No filters. Just what actually happened.

Since my waitlist is growing daily with basically zero marketing effort, I'm thinking about launching privately.
Just opening the app to users on the waitlist who are fully committed. 🤔
Still lots to finish, but yeah.
Planning a slow, steady launch.

Content for the whole week with one click
But just generating a bunch of stuff for the week is not what i want it to do.
Marketing lives from Feedback. So i will try this.
1. in the chat Coopa gives you inspiration.
2. You save Coopas suggestions as drafts in your workspace.
(The Social media personality is trained on trends, so from the start you‘ll see improvements in clicks and conversions.)
3. You tag drafts that you like and generate content for a week with one click.
4. You post
5. You give coopa feedback about performance.
6. Coopa learns from your feedback for future posts specifically for your product/service
7. You chat with coopa about the campaign performance. What could‘ve been done better. How to improve.
8. you get new suggestions from coopa.
9. W
Let‘s code it. 🤝

👀 Sneak peek of something I’m working on...
It’s a public holiday and the office is empty. Perfect time to test and refine a few things.
Thinking of adding a way for users to upload branding (logos, colors, etc.) so their posts stay consistent. Especially useful for blogs.

🚨 Coopa is coming.
Started quietly building a marketing agent I actually want to use.
It helps you think, then builds the emails, ads, and content that sell.

Custom Try-On for enterprises?
We do it. But it’s overkill for small to mid-sized brands.
That’s why @ecomdesignlab will soon offer a @Shopify plug & play app.
Customers upload a selfie & try on your pieces.
No dev team required for this.
Fewer returns. More sales.
More updates soon. ✌️

It‘s day #184 having a co founder
We both have so much to share
That’s why I set up a simple blog for our journey
I didn‘t like the thought of collecting e-mails for another newsletter, nobody has time for that
And i want to keep it as raw as possible
Just rough, real startup founder experience
Both, me and my co-founder will post our journey here
You‘ll get two different perspectives
One sales-guy, one developer perspective
Whenever we have something to share we will do it on our blog
Everybody posts for himself, means my co founders experience could be completely different 👀😜
I did a post already, check it out if you have the time

Thinking about starting a blog/newsletter talking about behind the scenes of building /marketing ecomdesignlab.ai but also future projects
I‘ve done a lot of marketing for so many businesses, where i didn‘t share anything.
Only the customer and i know.
Sometimes customers didn‘t feel comfortable. Sometimes i was just not in the mood.
But i‘m not talking just about „strategies“, but a kind of record of whats actually happening.
What is on my mind.
Why do i do things like i do them.
How do i feel about strategies.
How are my days building.
Just brutal honest truth.
Even though i am experienced with this shit, i still have no clue if new things will work.
And i kind of feel this could be a good idea to have a valve for releasing thoughts.
I wouldn‘t do it like a „must“, but just whenever i feel like it i would post something.
Marketing wise it‘s build in public i guess, but i wouldn‘t treat it like a „sales-channel“ but more like a journal.
I wouldn‘t use AI for this one. So typos will be included. Grammar will not be perfect. 🤷♂️
Idk which format makes more sense. I honestly wouldn‘t like to collect emails and all that jazz for this. Maybe i’ll just set up a simple blog.
If you read this far, is this something you‘d read?
