a lot of people don't know about my Mouth Council project because it's lived mostly offline (intentionally) over the last 14 years but I want to bring the experience to more events next year.
I made a @GigSalad account if anyone wants to book me: gigsalad.com/mouth_council_a…
AI generated music is 1000x better than real music.
Today I canceled Spotify and SiriusXM because I finally tested Suno.
What sold me was the first prompt I gave it:
“My favorite artists are A Day to Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox, Bad Omens, and Sleep Token.
Analyze all their hits and generate a song I’m likely to love based on those artists.”
It one shots an absolute banger in 10 seconds.
I'll link the song in the next tweet for anyone curious.
Why would I ever go back to Spotify/SiriusXM when I can generate music perfectly tailored to my taste on command, for free?
Not affiliated with Suno in any way btw, it was just one of those moments where I was so impressed with AI’s capability I had to say something about it.

all the little raw live moments I've improvised over the years are kinda more important to me than all the official studio recordings I've released. this one happened in 2019. my stepson dog Henry (RIP) was sleeping peacefully just out of frame

Being together again felt cathartic, healing and totally surreal. We’re actively planning more for next year, and today we get to share the first one: Sonic Temple. There’s more coming soon… more festivals and more headlining shows.

the dad dancing with his baby in the background of this really elevates the music

Years ago, I worked as a local PA for The Daily Show when the RNC was in Tampa. I basically drove @aasif and our producer around for a few days. We interviewed the founder of Mons Venus and needed a lap dance in the background of the shot so that's me and a 60+ year old stripper.
