🚨BREAKING: BINANCE HOT WALLET APPEARS TO BE DRAINED FOR ~$2.53B!
On-chain data shows a large outflow from a Binance hot wallet (Binance 14) involving roughly $2.53 billion across 60+ tokens on Ethereum, including a major ETH transfer.
The transaction that moved the funds was initiated by an address funded via Tornado Cash, with the assets sent to a fresh EOA.
The report remains unconfirmed.

Here’s something I’ve been thinking about…
What if you needed to upgrade your home’s security, but had to wait for your neighbour to do theirs first?
A bit frustrating, right? 😂
Well, @Starknet is facing an interesting version of this problem.
Starknet currently runs as an Ethereum Layer 2, which means parts of its security still depend on Ethereum.
And with quantum computing becoming a serious topic, upgrading cryptography is getting more important.
That’s why Starknet is exploring the idea of becoming its own Layer 1.
Not because Ethereum is bad, but because having more control over when and how security upgrades happen could really matter in the future.
It’s still being explored, not a final decision.
Personally, I think it’s an interesting move. Being secure is important, but being able to adapt might be just as important.
Would you rather have more independence or stay connected to Ethereum? 👀

DEEP Robotics put out a batch of research yesterday, and the part I keep thinking about is the data side.
Their LynxScenes dataset is 833.6 hours and 3,294.7 km of real outdoor robot operation. In another test, a wheel legged robot’s success rate went from 25% to 65% after policy post-training. These are company reported results from their own preprints, so take them as claims for now.
My take: the more capable these models get, the more obvious it is that simulation alone doesn’t cover the real world. Snow, wet roads and odd layouts all have to come from somewhere.
That’s the gap I find interesting about @vangrid_io. Phones capture real places, the fingerprints get anchored on Base, and you can check the activity yourself at explorer.vangrid.io
