What most people don't realize about dot-com is that the average stock still went up after the bubble popped. From 1999 to 2001, the S&P 500 fell 20% while the equal-weight index gained almost 6%. Narrative violation.

Neocloud Stocks Plunge, Despite Triple-Digit AI Revenue Growth Forecasts AI infrastructure demand remains strong, supported by multibillion-dollar contracts. But rising debt and massive CapEx raise questions about future free cash flow. 52-week declines | Estimated NTM revenue growth: $NBIS Nebius | -47% | +430% AI cloud ARR reached $3B, supported by $40B+ in contracts. However, $5.7B quarterly CapEx, rising debt, and customer concentration create substantial risks. $IREN IREN | -68% | +300% A $9.7B Microsoft contract supports rapid AI cloud expansion. Operating ARR reached $1B, but $25B–$30B planned CapEx and deployment delays pose risks. $WULF TeraWulf | -62% | +220% Secured a $19B Anthropic lease covering 401 MW. Unlike GPU-owning neoclouds, WULF develops and leases data centers, avoiding direct GPU depreciation risk. Construction remains capital-intensive. $CIFR Cipher Digital | -74% | +186% Holds 700 MW of contracted HPC capacity, worth $11.4B. However, adjusted EBITDA remains negative, and new rental income depends on project completion. $CRWV CoreWeave | -62% | +157% Backlog reached $104.2B, but debt totaled $35.6B and quarterly FCF was -$5.74B. Heavy investment is required to convert contracts into revenue. $WYFI WhiteFiber | -79% | +138% Secured an $865M Nscale colocation contract. Customer concentration and limited contracted power capacity increase execution risks. $DOCN DigitalOcean | -50% | +42% AI customer ARR reached $234M, with a 40% adjusted EBITDA margin. Its diversified cloud model reduces reliance on debt-funded GPU expansion. $APLD Applied Digital | -64% | +24% Secured 1.41 GW in leases, but $6.4B in debt and rising interest costs pressure profitability. As a data-center landlord, tenant credit risk is critical. $HUT Hut 8 | -57% | +5% Holds 949 MW of contracted capacity, worth $26.6B. Long-term leases support future income, but much of its infrastructure remains under development.

Anthropic picked the ticker $ANT for its IPO, which makes a lot more sense after reading this bullet point in the S1: “Our employees are known internally as ‘Ants’ — a nickname that captures the collaborative, ego-light culture of the team. Ants include many of the researchers and developers defining the frontier of AI, alongside proven operators across disciplines. Shared purpose paired with low ego translates directly into less organizational friction and greater impact per employee. Claude compounds that impact further: Ants use Claude across every function to take on work that would otherwise require substantially larger teams—allowing us to remain remarkably lean relative to our output.”

I’ll be watching the upcoming $IREN earnings closely I think the market is getting overtly emotional with neoclouds
$IREN is down 62% from ATHs meanwhile, the machine keeps getting stronger: 1. AI cloud revenue grew 4x in two quarters 2. contracted ARR climbed from $2.3B → $4.0B 3. $MSFT accepted $IREN’s first liquid-cooled datacenter the market is pricing an investment cycle like a structural decline

$ONDS is expanding its partnership with $PLTR across Sentinel manufacturing, SkyWeaver autonomy and its new Regna AI platform with Palantir's software helping integrate DZYNE in just weeks. That's a pretty big deal considering how aggressively Ondas has expanded through acquisitions and Palantir will play a huge role in turning those businesses into one integrated defense platform.
THE $ONDS OFFICIAL DEEP-DIVE EPISODE JUST DROPPED What I think people are missing with Ondas is that management has spent last 18 months buying its way towards becoming an emerging defense prime spanning counter drone systems, long endurance surveillance, precision strike, ground robotics, manufacturing and the software connecting everything together. That creates a massive opportunity for Ondas but it also makes the stock so difficult to own in 2026 because so much of that growth was acquired and financed through share dilution meaning management now has to prove these businesses can grow organically and become more valuable together than they were separately.
