Ready for breakfast at my hotel in Fishbourne. Looking forward to a working day on the IOW - auditing a potential acquisition for a client - weather is all a bit grim but hopefully the business I’m looking at won’t be! Always loved this picture of the moon over the RNLI station at Bembridge - stunning

Always love seeing the hovercraft at Ryde on the IOW

Tropic at Ruislip Gig - 15.11.26 I am delighted to confirm that I will be supporting one of the UK’s finest bands, the fabulous Bad Influence (who have forty years of producing great music and have just released a double CD to celebrate), at their Blues at the Tropic gig on Sunday 15th November 2026. I am very grateful to Derek White (@RTBMusicAgency)for making this happen and to my good friends Val Cowell, Richard Hayes, Jonny Brister and Peter Stroud for giving me the opportunity to play. I will be on stage at 8pm with Bad Influence following. I will be playing a set of all original songs from my album Prodigal Son plus two new, recently recorded, but not currently released, numbers. Tickets are £12 if reserved in advance at Bad Influence or £14 on the door on the night. This is a seated gig. I will have copies of my aforementioned album available in both digital and CD formats on the evening. I will also be announcing the release of my 2026 charity Christmas single (It’s not the same for everyone at Christmas) in aid of @DiabetesUK and the @propmarktrust which I hope will build on the success of last years award winning song. Please put it in your diaries and reserve your tickets now. I look forward to seeing you there. tropicatruislip.co.uk/bad-in…

When you find another “window” - I’ve got a couple of lawns in Chalfont St Peter that, after the weeks of no rain, a hosepipe ban and now excessive storms, need your expertise! Keep up the great work. Our football may not be great but the pitch is excellent!

Net zero my a*se!

This week in Marlow

FT Wolves 1 @WatfordFC 0 Another disappointing and impotent performance by the Hornets - Wolves dominated throughout and scoreline fails to really reflect that dominance but nevertheless still results in another defeat for the Golden Boys Lack of creation and no real goal scoring threat is now seeing Watford head towards League One Can see Pozzo getting trigger happy with Dionisi who unfortunately gets less positive with every game. It is, of course, the lack of quality and depth in squad that is the real issue Anybody seen Antonio?

Vata on for Bravo - Dionisi’s last throw of dice Still Wolves 1 @WatfordFC 0

Doumbia and Payero on for Boadu and Kjerrumgaard Wolves 1 @WatfordFC 0 75 minutes gone

Throw of the dice as Dionisi replaces wingbacks Bola and Diatta with similar like for like offensive options with Zemura and Maamma Wolves 1 @WatfordFC 0 A marginal improvement by the Hornets in second half - have had a couple of shots and a corner and a little more possession

FFS! Burnham planning for his post PM role back in Manchester?
