America needs to do more smelting and develop more aluminum here at home - while building secure, resilient supply chains.
Louisiana is showing what’s possible when a state embraces progress, invests in manufacturing and gets back to building great things in America.

On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the New York Times spent time and resources analyzing the Reflecting Pool.
And they continue to avoid doing any real reporting on all the vandalism that has clearly happened at the Reflecting Pool:
- 342 feet of razor blade slashes
- "8647" spray painted in massive black letters on the pool
- U.S. Attorney's Office: "The NPS employee...stated that the defendant then knelt, placed both hands into the reflecting pool—below the surface of the water—and started to ‘violently’ rip and tug at a large portion of the blue pool coating."
- "8647" chemical bums on the nearby grass
Despite the unhinged vandalism targeting the Reflecting Pool (and nearby grass and World War II Memorial), the Reflecting Pool will soon be opened in a condition better than ever before in its 100+ year history. The pool's vandalism damage, which was significant, is being fixed. The pool's water valves, which were falling apart, are now being replaced. The pipes, which were clogged, have been flushed clean. The pool, which leaked like a sieve, is sealed. The sidewalks, which had filth and grime, have been pressure washed. The granite coping stone, which was gray and discolored, is now shiny white. The water treatment system, which was clearly ineffective before, has been replaced with a state-of-the-art nanobubbler system.
Beyond the vandalism, the Obama and Biden administrations left a complete and total mess at the Reflecting Pool. In addition to all the fixing the vandalism and deferred maintenance work, we are now replacing 39 decades-old valves that are clogged and falling apart. Just like so many things, this administration is cleaning up Obama's and Biden's messes, and the New York Times continues its biased, TDS reporting.
