A Chris Webber Timeout situation in the same exact city where it happened 33 years ago.
Tulane unbelievably calls a timeout that they did not have. Jackson State takes full advantage, winning 87-85.
An improbable finish to a great battle.

Tulane loses despite trailing for less than 2 seconds. Absolutely stunning.
Congrats to Kendrick Perkins on Jackson State’s first win against Tulane since 1992, when Tulane was ranked.
Tulane is now 12-2 against the SWAC under Ron Hunter, with both losses during Wave weekend.

Krystian Lewis forced OT with this tough fadeaway to give him 24 points at the end of regulation.
He then scored 16 more points in two overtime periods, and finished with 40, as Tulane outlasted UT Martin, 100-98.
1st 40-point game for a Tulane player in 52 years. What a debut in Uptown🔥

Cardiac Wave do it again!
Charlotte’s win probability peaked at almost 96% after 2 minute warning
Huge plays from a pair of former walk-on QBs from New Orleans allowed Tulane to pull off another unlikely comeback:
- Garrett Mmahat stops fake punt
- Dagan Bruno game-winning TD

~ Trace Johnson: 15-18, 133 yds (INT)
~ Sacks: Makai the guy & Warren Roberts Jr.
~ 5 TFL: 2 from Makai

ESPN: Charlotte’s 24 points at halftime are its most in a 1st half in over 2 years. Also, it’s 2nd HT lead this season, along with their loss to The Citadel.
It’s the 2nd most points Tulane has allowed in a half of a conf. game over last 3 years behind 31 at UTSA in 1st half.
Tulane’s 15-play drive was their most plays on a drive this season. The offense was very spread out with so many getting involved.
It was the 1st time the Green Wave scored on their opening drive since last season’s conf championship. Retzlaff capped off a 16-play drive with TD.
Mitchell ended up doubling his career reception total last week, catching 4 balls for a career-high 46 yards. I was thrilled to see him healthy and effective.

Tulane getting a pick-6 in back-to-back weeks has been sweet.
Wave had 5 in 2024, and I saw a pick-6 in consecutive weeks in Lafayette & Norman, OK.
Last season, their first came in the conference championship thanks to Chris Rodgers.
