If you were a pirate, which kind of pirate would you be?

This... actually made me cry this morning. Unite was the first game that really connected me with some of the best people I ever met during my time as a Poketuber. I would not be where I am today without this game. I would not be the creator I am today without this game. I gave up on it after seeing it turn into just another cash grab moba and watching my main get nerfed to hell (my poor Zeraora), but it's always held a special place in my heart, especially as someone who was there day one. I've always missed the people I teamed up with and the way we played... Ash, Tyler, Aiden, Nick, even Blake and Luuk sometimes. It's probably the only League adjacent game I'll ever enjoy. If the company had ever actually cared about the playerbase and listened to us when we begged them to, this wouldn't have needed to happen. I have lots of fond memories of Unite... even with my ex hating when I'd play because I'd get so loud and excitable and obnoxious. It gave me confidence as a gamer and as a streamer. It gave me the confidence to do more than nuzlockes and challenge runs and silly tournaments and comp building. It gave me the confidence to branch out for different types of games and be reassured people would come back for me and not just the type of content I played. I would not be here as a VTuber today if Unite hadn't given me the confidence to do more as a creator. And if I never became a VTuber, I would not be here today, at all. Thank you for the memories, Unite. I wish there could be a future you existed and cared for your players. I wish there was a future we could've shared more matches together.
