We finally found time to try some new bottles and we kept the proof light from 80-97p. I liked the Woodford the best - it had a strawberry pop tart vibe while my wife scored the Basil Hayden Cognac finish the highest. I was most surprised she liked the Bulleit Rye as much as she did - she’s not a rye fan at all. Also pretty crazy that a highly allocated bottle like JD 10yr didn’t show up that well tonight. Here’s her scores (out of 10):

Met up with a bunch of friends from church for the Homecoming bonfire.
He didn’t sing Some Other Bar but had some great covers and sang I’m The Problem (which he helped Morgan Wallen write). Girls had a blast and I got to slow dance with my wife. Blessed to be in this little town, surrounded by great people.
